Remember that not all
cleaning supplies or materials
are appropriate for every
tools and equipment, it
always depends on where the
tools and equipment are
made of.
How to use
Computer
1. Make sure all
power cable are
connected to
electricity.
Front Office Services
2. Turn on the CPU
(Central Processing
Unit) by pressing the
button on power on.
3. Turn on the
monitor by
pressing the
button on the
monitor.
4. Wait until the
boot is completed
and the windows
display or
screensaver appear.
Shutting Down
the Computer
1. Click the start
button located on
the task bar
Front Office Services
2. Then click the
Turn Off computer
3. Display
appears showing
three options:
Standby, Turn Off
and Restart.
4. Now choose
Turn Off.
How to Use Fax Machine
is the telephonic transmission of scanned
printed material (both text and images)
And there is a saying “It’s
better to have a few tools
but in good condition, than
to own many but
defective.”
Some commonly used cleaning materials for
electronics are:
Duster
to wipe away dust from surface
of office tools and equipment.
Compressed air
pressurized can that blows away
dust and dirt especially on hard
to reach spaces.
Electrostatic cloth
. It has magnetic properties that
gather dusts and dirt particles for
better cleaning.
Lint-free cloth
are special cleaning cloth that
does not leave any lint on
equipment
Toothpick and
Metal Pin
serves as framework for cotton
cloth to reach deep holes.

A. Computer
1. Keep the following computer software up-to-
date to improve performance and security.
2. Clear the cache in your browser at least once
a month.
3. Run Disk Clean-up to delete unnecessary files
in your hard drive to maximize its capacity.
5. Backup important files from your computer to
a storage device like external hard drive

B. Printer
1. Let the printer fee blank papers at least
once a week to gather out dust lint and
residues from toner.
2. Use appropriate type of paper for your
printer stated.
3. Do not overload the try with papers.
4. Place the printer in an elevated
compartment
5. Protect the internal parts of a printer
6. Check the ink status regularly. Change
cartridge only when needed.

C. Telephone
1. Place the telephone in an elevated table or
countertop to prevent the handset from
reaching the ground and damage in case of
falls.
2. Never let the cord touch sharp edges or be
stretch tightly to prevent wires inside from
cutting off.

D. Fax Machine
1. Place the equipment at least six inches
from the wall ad elevated on countertop to
ensure ventilation.
2. Use the appropriate type of paper. Make
sure that every sheet does not stick together
because of moist or bring through its cut
edge fan the paper by your hand before
inserting it in the machine.
3. Change toner as needed if already showing
dullness on prints. Make sure to clean any
spills.
4. Prevent small foreign items to reach inside
of the equipment which might lead to
malfunctioning.

Check the ink status regularly. Change cartridge only when needed.
