1. Maybe theyfindthe newsonga little difficultbutsoontheywill see thatthere are

2. Perhapstheydonot rememberthe flagtheyusedthe previousclass, butIhave
alreadyconsidereditsoIwill have the booknexttome to show it to them.

triangle.ThenIwill showthemthe differentflashcardsindifferentorderandaskthemaboutthe
shape theyare seeing.

Purpose:To provide contextswhere students can practice the language.
Activity1 – 7’
I will askthemto standup,I will move mychairand I will teachthemto do the shapeswiththeir
hands,slowlysotheycanput theirhandsand fingersinthe correctway. I will putmyhandsas a
triangle andI will askthem“What figure isthis?” EA:“A triangle”.Iwill answer“Excellent,a

some glue ineachtable.
Theywill create a flagwiththe grommetsprovidedby the bookandnew shapesthatI will provide
them.(The teacherneedstocomplete the bookduringthe year soI shouldinclude some of its
activitiesinmylessons.Butinthiscase,the activityisdesignedtocomplete itwiththe stickers
fromthe book(circles) soIwill give themthe otherthree shapes.)
I will provide themsome instructionstocomplete the flag,practicingsome numbersand
supportingmyinstructions withthe followingflashcards.
I will say:“Let´screate a beautiful flag!First,puttwoorange triangles”asI holdthe triangle
flashcards.Iwill use myfingerstohelpthemwiththe numbersif itisnecessary. ThenIwill say
otherinstructionswithrectangle andsquare.Finally,Iwill addone instructionusingthe circle
grommetsfromthe book:I will showthemwhere the grommetsare (theyuse themusually)and
theywill use themtopaste theminthe flag.
