The assignments and journals helped her learn about cognitive skills, stress management, and building self-confidence. We live in an unreal world where everything is either perfectly wonderful or absolutely terrible. Each person is unique and powerful in their own way. Self love is the greatest love. It is something that is never taught to us in schools and colleges but it plays an important role in shaping the personality of an individual.The whole of this idea is a matter of maturing. Accepting and embracing ourselves leads us to a wonderful journey of success and happiness. If we do not respect our own wishes, no one else will. Amidst all the chaos and commotion of life, we often forget to realize our own worth. Before anyone else's acceptance, we need to first accept ourselves.Nowadays, everyone is under the constant pressure of being the best and standing out in the competition that it leads to low self esteem and brings emptiness in our lives. Therefore, by practicing self love we can uplift and nourish our soul and provide way for bringing immense happiness and contentment into our lives. We need to realize the significance of loving ourselves and inculcate the essence of self love in our daily life to lead a better and happier life with more zest and enthusiasm. This is extremely uplifting and liberating for all the human beings.
In the British dictionary of definitions, self-love is described as "the instinct or tendency to seek one's own well-being or to further one's own interest.” Self-love is the foundation on which everything else is built on, and it should be solid to be able to live a good life where things will fall into place.
Just over a year ago I took a leap of faith by following my dream to relocate to India. It has been an extraordinarily enriching and eventful year. Reflecting back on all the wonderful meetings, opportunities, moments of magic and learning, I feel inspired to share with you 'Taking a Leap of Faith'.

• THE WEEK I LIKED THE MOST WAS WEEK 4. IN THIS WEEK I LEARNED ABOUT MY
EMOTIONAL PATTERNS, THOUGHT PATTERNS, AND CORE BELIEFS. ALL OF THESE
PLAY A BIG ROLE IN YOUR LIFE. THE WAY I BELIEVE AND THINK ARE LINKED
TOGETHER. THE WAY YOU BELIEVE AFFECTS THE WAY YOU THINK. WHAT YOU
BELIEVE WILL ALWAYS SHOW THROUGH YOUR ACTIONS. YOU HAVE TO BE
MINDFUL OF THE THINGS YOU DO. IT’S BEST TO ALWAYS THINK BEFORE ACTING
ON THINGS. YOUR ACTIONS SHOW WHAT YOU BELIEVE. THINKING AND
BELIEVING ARE TIED IN TOGETHER IN SO MANY WAYS. FOR EXAMPLE, IF I STUDY
THE BIBLE AND BELIEVE WHAT I READ, THEN THAT WILL SHOW IN MY ACTIONS
AND THE WAY I THINK.
5. LESSONS I WILL CARRY ON
• THREE LESSONS FROM THIS CLASS ARE COGNITIVE SKILLS, CORE BELIEFS, AND
STRESS. I BELIEVE THESE LESSONS HAVE TAUGHT ME A LOT ABOUT MYSELF. I HAVE
LEARNED MORE ABOUT MYSELF NOW THAN BEFORE. THE LESSONS AND JOURNAL
ENTRIES MADE ME THINK ABOUT LIFE IN A WAY I’VE NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT IT
BEFORE. IF I CARRY ON THESE LESSONS, I BELIEVE IT WILL SHOW MY CHILDREN THE
POSITIVE SIDE IN ME. THEY CAN LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES AND GO A DIFFERENT
ROUTE. THESE LESSONS HAVE ALSO TAUGHT THAT, MY CHILDREN ARE LOOKING AT
WHAT I DO. THEY WILL DO MORE OF WHAT I DO RATHER THAN WHAT I SAY. THIS IS
WHY I WANT TO TAKE MY COGNITIVE SKILLS AND CORE BELIEFS AND LEARN USE
THEM THAT WAY I CAN CONTROL MY STRESS LEVEL. IF I AM TOO STRESSED, THEN I
CANNOT FOCUS AND WILL NOT DO WELL IN TEACHING MY CHILDREN WHAT I
LEARNED FROM THIS CLASS IN 5 WEEKS.

I LEARNED THAT IN THE BEGINNING OF THIS CLASS I HAD
TROUBLE BELIEVING IN MYSELF. I DID NOT THINK I WOULD
MAKE IT THIS FAR IN LIFE ON MY OWN. I HAD SELF-ESTEEM
PROBLEMS. AFTER READING AND STUDYING ABOUT WAYS TO
BELIEVE IN MYSELF, MY RESULTS ARE HIGHER AND BETTER
