Favorite Class Assignments
– Power of Words: This was one of my top favorite assignments simply because in
such a short video it shows you exactly how words make a difference. It showed
how you have to choose your words wisely with your audience. Not every person
comprehends things the same way.
– Service Project: I really enjoyed this assignment because it got me out of the house
to do something for my community. To work hand in hand with the people that I did
was such an awesome experience! I never really thought about volunteering since
I’ve been out of high school but I really enjoyed it and think I want to go back.
– Preferred Learning Styles: I liked how I learned how I learn best. I’ve always thought
I’ve learned a certain way and that didn’t show to be the case at all. I learned that I
learn the most by feelings and thinking.
Favorite Journal Entries
– Journal Entry 1: I liked when we first assessed ourselves to see where we were
before the class took on full swing. I thought it was interesting how everything was
broke down so we knew where we needed the most work. I was shockingly
surprised on my beginning scores.
– Journal Entry 8: I enjoyed this journal because I was able to allow myself to
understand the other side of things. I tend to blame myself a lot if things go right
and I don’t give myself a chance to understand. Having to do this assignment
showed me how I am too tough on myself at times. I just need to relax and take a
deep breath.
– Journal Entry 33: This journal I liked because we were able to reassess ourselves
after 8 weeks. To see the over all change in myself and work, I was impressed. I
thought I did really well with taking steps forward.
Favorite Module
– My favorite module had to be module 6 for sure!!! I liked this module mostly
because of the final journal entry. I enjoyed doing the beginning assessment all
over again to see where I came from to where I am now. I also learned from
journal 29 that sometimes my emotions get the best of me. I learned that when
I write about something my emotions tend to take over and change to that
feeling I’m writing about. I thought it was pretty cool to learn that because I
never realized it before then. I also really enjoyed the service learning project. I
love helping people (that’s why I want to become a nurse). All in all module 6
was my all time favorite it was really enjoyable and different from the other
modules.
Things I learned and will carry
on with me!
– Deep Processing!
– How to not let my mood affect my work or the people around me.
– How to deal with stress better.
– How not to be so hard on myself, we all have bad days.
– How to become a better student.

3. Mastering Self-Management- 69
4. Employing Interdependence- 58
5. Gaining Self-Awareness- 76
6. Adopting Lifelong learning- 72
7. Developing Emotional Intelligence- 51
8. Believing in Myself- 68
My growth in personal responsibility as been much higher than I originally thought it would be. I for
one am very pleased in my scores after this course. All of my scores went up besides one that didn’t
change at all. I figured my time management would still be an issue because I still haven’t mastered
that part yet. Though one didn’t make a change I still believe that I have made some progress and a
difference. I personally have seen the change and these two different scores show it as well.
