South Doyle Middle School  Computer Lab Procedures And  Safety Precautions
Enter quietly, place all  possessions on the shelves- books, coats, purses, notes, pencils, make-up, keys, etc.
If possessions are at the computer,  the items will be taken up.
Please… No candy, drinks, gum or food are allowed!
Go promptly to your assigned computer table and be seated. Follow the agenda  and begin your work.
There should never be horseplay or  running in the classroom.
Keep inappropriate comments to yourself.
You will be assigned a computer to use.
Do not touch another  student's computer.
Be careful of wires under the tables.
Do not rock back in your chair. Keep your feet on the floor.
Do.....
Touch the keys lightly  and silently.
Keep the mouse on  the table. Don't pick it up!
Keep hands  off the  monitor screen.
Keep your hands out of your mouth.
Never put your hand  through your hair or  touch your face  at the computer.
Be sure your hands are clean before  using the keyboard.
If you need to blow your  nose, please go outside  in the hall.
When you return, throw away your tissue and sanitize your  hands before using the computer.
Warning...Warning....Warning.... If your computer seems abnormal, you should report this immediately to the teacher. Never try to "fix" any problems with a computer.
Warning...Warning....Warning.... Never type vulgarities or inappropriate remarks. You could lose your  computer privileges.
Warning...Warning....Warning.... Do not explore other  applications or menu  items without permission. You could lose your  computer privileges.
Warning...Warning....Warning.... Do not tamper with the computer system in any way. You could lose your  computer priviledges.
Please do not ask to go to the restroom or water fountain.
Before leaving class, make  sure you quit the applications, log out, return to the Startup screen, push in your  chair and leave the area neat.
Remember, you will  only speak to the teacher  by raising your hand .
Don't touch anyone's computer but yours.
