1. Computer Lab Etiquette This will be a great year of learning and fun, but we must follow certain rules while in the computer lab.

2. Always sit in your assigned seat. Back against the chair Feet on the floor. Fingers on the home row. Chair legs on the ground.

3. Food, candy, gum, and drinks are not permitted in the room. X X X

4. Keep your fingers, pens, and pencils off the screen.

5. Help your neighbor with your mouth not their mouse!

6. Your neighbor can’t help?….raise your hand and wait quietly for me!

7. Ask before you print!

8. Games, chat rooms, music, and instant messaging are not permitted.

9. If you deliberately break or damage equipment, you will pay for it.

10. Push in your chair, and clean up your area when you are done.

11. Changing backgrounds, altering computers, and unplugging equipment is unacceptable.

12. You are responsible for the computer assigned to you. Report any problems to the teacher within the first 3 minutes of class.

14. Plug in your headphones! Be sure to take care of your headphones and bag.
