13. Conclusions
1. In patients with oesogastric cancer, compared with ECF/ECX, FLOT increased rates of
curative surgery and prolonged PFS and OS;
2. FLOT demonstrated a consistent relative effect across all subgroups and sensitivity
analyses. In perioperative treatment of patients with oesogastric cancer, FLOT may be
considered as a new standard of care.

24. NUMBERS
Pancreatic cancer (PC) is the fourth leading cause of cancer death in Western societies.
However, it is projected to be the second within a decade1-2.
Due to the aggressive nature of PC, its late presentation and the lack of effective
screening, around 50% of patients are metastatic at the time of diagnosis.
5-yrs survival in mPC is around 1%3.

Sesso
Storia medica personale, precedenti malattie e trattamenti

chemioterapici quali oxaliplatino o irinotecano.

Sindrome Mano-Piede
