This study focuses on the growth and characterization of tetraaqua bismaleatocobalt (II) crystals obtained by ionic diffusion in hydrosilica gel. The crystals exhibit well-defined optical and magnetic properties, revealing a triclinic structure and a thermal stability up to 98 °C, after which they become anhydrous. Techniques such as FTIR, X-ray diffraction, and thermogravimetric analysis were utilized to assess the crystals' structural and thermal characteristics.
