We focused on neighbourhood work and the tools which are encouraging people to hold power to account, as well as join in a conversation between citizens and governed.

A presentation to encourage a conversation among local government communications folks about what is and isn't working in social medis. I tended to find the modest examples most compelling. People wanted to talk a lot about twitter!

To ensure women get their voices heard
To help women take a positive step forward
To be responsive to women’s needs
To provide opportunities for all women
