ODIN is a project funded by the European Union to develop an interoperability network between ORCID and DataCite to improve research attribution. It aims to better link researchers to their research outputs across disciplines like the humanities, social sciences, and high energy physics through disambiguation of author names and affiliations. The next steps include releasing reports in summer 2013 and holding an event at CERN in October to gather feedback and input on strategies.
