The KANNAD 121 AF is an automatic fixed two-frequency emergency locator transmitter designed for light aircraft. It is small, lightweight, low-cost, and complies with requirements for light aircraft. The KANNAD 121 AF meets the latest specifications for two-frequency ELTs and can be upgraded to a three-frequency ELT while keeping the same installation. As an automatic fixed ELT, it is designed to be installed near the tail and connect to an outside antenna, activating automatically in the event of a crash via a sophisticated shock sensor.
