Hitachi's Service Proven Automotive IGBT MBB600TV6A at 600A / 650V with Direc...Juan Munoz
Hitachi introduces new EV and HEV IGBT MBB600TV6A (650V 600A 6 in 1), which more than 300,000 units have been sold successfully in Japan already, making it proven technology.
*Soon bringing the Temperature sensor on IGBT chip: MBB800TW6A (650V 800A 6 in 1).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hitachi Power Semiconductor Devices Direct Pin Liquid Cooling Technology has been applied on more than 600,000 units and is continuously improving with new units to hit the market rated at 800A this year and 1000A later on.
Among some of the features are:
• High speed, low loss IGBT module
• Low thermal impedance due to direct liquid cooling
• High reliability, high durability module
• Operating Junction Temperatures range from -50*C to +150*C
• Small footprint 163x94 mm package
• Three thermistor sensors, one per each phase leg
• Compact and stable sealing structure and thermal grease‐free
The Hitachi’s Direct Pin Liquid Cooling IGBTs offers (1) low thermal resistance realized by thermal-greaseless “direct-liquid-cooling” technology with pin-fin, whose pressure drop and fin efficiency are optimally designed, (2) small package size, which enables compact power conditioner system, (3) high reliability and long lifetime realized by high strength Si3N4 insulated substrate and newly developed RoHS bonding technologies. The thermal resistance Rj-w of the IGBT module is reduced by 35 percent when compared to “indirect-cooling” conventional modules using thermal grease. The developed IGBT module and channel cover jacket are approximately 37 percent lighter and 45 percent smaller when compared to conventional modules with the same power capability.
Applications
• EV / HEV / PHEV
• Commercial Electric Vehicles

The TOS9300 series is a high performance electrical safety analyzer that complies to a wide range of universal standards. Hipot, Insulation Resistance, Ground Bond, Leakage Current (touch current and protective conductor current) and partial discharge can all be tested. A total of 6 models are available for standard compliance tests in a wide variety of applications including R&D, quality assurance manufacturing lines and laboratory tests.
The TOS9303LC is the "all-rounder" model which supports AC/DC withstanding voltage, insulation resistance, AC/DC earth continuity and leakage currents tests in a single device. It can also be used for contact current, protective conductor current and patient leakage current tests
The TOS9300 series can conduct leakage current (patient current) tests for highly sensitive medical devices. Measurement networks can be easily configured via the front panel.
Electrical safety standard testing for automotive components
Compatible with both AC and DC, the TOS9303LC complies with a wide varety of safety tests for EV batteries, automotive charging devices and charging connectors. This "all-in-one" safety analyzer can meet the needs of nearly all automotive electrical safety standards.
Transient and power frequency overvoltage protection
Surge protection devices (SPD) Electrical power supply networks to IEC/EN (DIN rail)
Type 2 / Class C / Class II for use in AC power supply systems
Surge protection portfolio includes solutions for protecting systems up to 1,000 V a.c. against surges caused by atmospheric discharge and switching operations.
Type 2 / Class II
Ability to discharge induced voltage surges (8/20 μs). Suitable for the second level of protection in supply distribution panels in which Type 1 protectors are installed, or for the first level of protection for applications not exposed to direct strikes and with no external lightning protection system. EN 61643-11 / IEC 61643-11.
LSP is the line of AC power surge protectors is designed to cover all possible configurations in low voltage installations. They are available in many versions, which differ in:
– AC Surge Protective Device T2
– AC network configuration (Single/3-Phase)
– Discharge currents (Iimp, Imax, In)
– Protection technology (varistors, GDT)
– Features (plug-in, remote signaling, compact)
The AC Surge Protective Device T2 Class C SLP40 line is a group of Class II Surges Protective Devices. They are intended as a protection against transient overvoltage caused by fast switching operations or indirect hits of lightning strokes (residuum effects).
It is recommended to install Class II SPDs every 10 – 20 meters of cable length repetitively, typically to main and sub-distribution boards. The SLP40-440 are designed for direct coordination with Class I SPDs of line FLP25. In the case of SLP40-275, the coordination with the line FLP25 is done by means of 10 m cable length.
The design of AC Surge Protective Device T2 is based on Metal Oxide Varistors. Such a design provides a very low response time. The modular design with plug-in inserts allows simple and quick replacement of function modules in case of MOV is beyond if its lifespan due to often occurrence of overvoltage peaks.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.
Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
