economic development publications since 2000, Rachel has
had the privilege of interviewing thousands of economic
developers, corporate executives, business and government
leaders, and higher education system officials to tell the story
of business expansion and the economic trends that affect a

people, tools and assets in place to retain and grow
companies and their job base, as well as foster new economic
growth in the knowledge-based economy.
Rachel graduated from the University of Kansas with a
bachelor’s of science degree in journalism.
