James Clay is ALT’s Learning Technologist of the Year 2009 for his contribution to changing Gloucestershire College, which has become a leader and an exemplar in its use of learning technologies. He is and has been passionate about the use of learning technologies to enhance and enrich the learning experience since 1991. He has used, developed, managed and inspired others in a range of technologies, from DTP, CD-ROM, the internet, the VLE, the MLE, mobile learning through to Web 2.0.
