The document outlines a process for designing a product experience vision at scale. It discusses researching user needs, defining success metrics, ideating future experiences, roadshowing the vision to stakeholders, iterating based on feedback, and translating the vision into an action plan. The goal is to align teams on an inspiring long-term vision for improving the customer experience and meeting business goals. An example vision is provided for helping employees manage their company equity to build wealth through ownership.
Analysis In Agile: It's More than Just User StoriesKent McDonald
A common question asked by teams adopting agile is "what does business analysis look like in agile?" The common answer is "writing user stories".
WRONG!
Okay, maybe not wrong, but certainly not the whole story (pardon the pun). Business analysis in agile is concerned with understanding the problem and possible solutions in order to ensure the team is building the right thing. User stories can be helpful, but are certainly not sufficient for doing that.
In this session, Kent McDonald describes how you can perform just enough business analysis to discover the right things to build. This includes how to really use value to decide what to build first, why process flows, data models, and mockups are still extremely helpful, and why the function of user stories is more important than their form.
Along the way, Kent shares examples from a system replacement project he is working on and suggests ways you can apply these techniques to your own projects.
The Product Visioning Workshop: A Proven Method for Product Planning and Prio...Perfetti Media
Is your team looking for new product concepts to capture a new market? Do you need to establish a long-term product strategy? Are you working to set a direction to drive roadmap decisions?
In this presentation, we will share a proven approach for creating a long-term product vision that your team can understand and rally behind. We will share all of the techniques you'll need to successfully run a Product Visioning Workshop with your product team and business stakeholders.
You will learn how to create a long-term vision for your product, establish consensus and buy-in across your organization, and prioritize features for the product roadmap. Your product managers will come away equipped to create roadmaps that align with your long-term product strategy.

We discussed:
Discovering Features and Products (Product Strategy)
Discovering Products and Product Lines (Product Line / Company Strategy)
Marty Cagan: Using High Fidelity Prototypes for Product Discovery
Mastering Ownership Mindset: Unlocking Your Potential as a Product Manager.pdfProduct School
The role Product manager plays in influencing leadership to become a product led company, to influence the cross-functional team on a unified product vision and empower ideation and alignment. Above all the mindset to think like an owner needs to be embodied at every step of lean development of a product to reach market fit - in delighting customers and meeting business outcomes.
Product roadmaps are an important product management tool. But traditionally, they map features onto a timeline that often extends many months into the future. This makes them hard to apply in an agile context where change and uncertainty are present. My talk shows how you can use agile product roadmaps, roadmaps that describe the value the product should create, align the stakeholders and development teams, and unburden the product backlog while avoiding premature commitments and preserving the ability to inspect and adapt.
Behind every great product is a great team doing work in a way that guarantees results. They are following a roadmap from the starting point to the end product. But a product roadmap can be elusive. This talk addresses why it is important and presents an approach to make one.

Generative AI: Redefining Creativity and Transforming Corporate LandscapeOsaka University
The advent of Generative AI is redefining the boundaries of creativity and markedly transforming the corporate landscape. One of the pioneering technologies in this domain is the Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF). Combined with advancements in LLM (Language Model) has emerged as a notable player. LLM offers two primary interpretations: firstly, as a machine capable of generating highly plausible texts in response to specific directives, and secondly, as a multi-lingual knowledge repository that responds to diverse inquiries.
The ramifications of these technologies are widespread, with profound impacts on various industries. They are catalyzing digital transformation within enterprises, driving significant advancements in research and development, especially within the realms of drug discovery and healthcare. In countries like Japan, Generative AI is heralded for its potential to bolster creativity. The value generated by such AI-driven innovations is estimated to be several trillion dollars annually. Intriguingly, about 75% of this value, steered by creative AI applications, is predominantly concentrated within customer operations, marketing and sales, software engineering, and R&D. These applications are pivotal in enhancing customer interactions, generating innovative content for marketing campaigns, and even crafting computer code from natural language prompts. The ripple effect of these innovations is palpable in sectors like banking, high-tech, and life sciences.
However, as with every innovation, there are certain setbacks. For instance, the traditional business model of individualized instruction, as seen in the context of professors teaching basic actions, is on the brink of obsolescence.
Looking ahead, the next five years pose pertinent questions about humanity's role amidst this technological evolution. A salient skillset will encompass the adept utilization of generative AI, paired with the discernment to accept or critique AI-generated outputs. Education, as we know it, will be reimagined. The evaluative focus will transition from verifying a student's independent work to gauging their ability to produce content surpassing their AI tools. Generative AI's disruptive nature will compel us to re-evaluate human value, reshaping the paradigms of corporate management and educational methodologies

Product Roadmaps - Tips on how to create and manage roadmapsMarc Abraham
This presentation is focused on two areas with respect to product roadmaps. Firstly, a roadmap is a not a loose collection of timings and features. Secondly, it is key to define a product vision, goals and strategy before creating a roadmap.
I hope that you design your own workbook and visual management boards. Making this process your own is how the work is enabled. Most people take a course and download the software or the workbook and try to apply without going through the necessary steps to learn the process. I hope that you have started your experiment, your PDCA cycle in adding these thoughts to your toolbox and the way you do your work. There is a Slideshare presentation on the workbook using this slide deck.
What 'Doodlers' and 'Coders' can teach Business about Experience DesignCandy Bernhardt
If you are a key leader in your business, you might wonder why creatives and developers can be so argumentative about seemingly straightforward feature requests for your site. Likewise, if you are one of the talented people doing the actual design and code work, it can often be frustrating when “suits” don’t understand the fundamentals of good user experience. It’s time for an intervention!

Product designer is amalgamation of technology, computer science and management thus it is a very responsible post. If we see it from a business perspective then we find that a business is a giant structure as a whole and there are different aspects to it. A product designer is responsible for creating or making a product which is useful to users. He needs to take direction from the business and its goal along with his own creativity.
Many UX designers struggle to work within a Scrum environment and see Scrum as a framework mainly for programmers. Working in time-boxed Sprints and delivering small pieces iteratively and incrementally might force designers to focus on a single story at a time. This in turn can lead to tunnel vision, losing focus of the big picture and resulting in a fragmented user experience. Come to this presentation to learn where design fits in Scrum and how to apply design principles in Agile environments and work effectively with Scrum teams to produce a great user experience.

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.
The Art of the Pitch: WordPress Relationships and SalesLaura Byrne
