Job analysis
Def: the process of collecting analyzing 
and get information about the job. And 
it determines the details and 
requirements about the specific job
Purpose of job analysis 
The purpose of job analysis is very 
important for selection of job evaluation, 
job designing and benefits packages and 
the development needs.
Selection 
It is a process by which organization selecting the 
employees and. it helps in determining what kind of 
person is required to perform a particular job. And 
also point out the qualification, level of experience, 
technical, physical and personal skills required to 
carry out a job. The objective is to fit a right person at 
a right place or at right work.
Training and development 
job analysis can be used to asses the training and 
development needs of employee. The difference 
between the expected and actual output determine the 
level of training that need to be important to 
employee. 
 Determine the future needs or think and plan about 
the employee need in future.
Compensation Management 
Basically this is a management which 
thinks and plan about the employee 
financial help and we can say the employee 
receive the salary by the compensation 
management.
And also give the salary 
according to his or her work. 
 Tours by organization and visits 
to other places and countries are 
also done by the compensation 
management
Job Design 
The main purpose of job analysis is to streamline the 
human effort and get the best possible output. It 
helps to design the extra responsibilities in a 
particular job.
Evaluating (judgment) 
To judge the person according to their 
records and his effort that he or she is better 
for organization or not
Performance analysis 
• Job analysis is done to cheek if goals and objective of particular 
job are met or not. Its help in deciding the performance 
standards. 
• and here we also see the performance of employee is he/she 
helpful to get organizational goals or not.
Example of an organization 
It one the top 5 famous organizations of the world and this 
organization follow the all rules of HRM. 
The World Bank is a United Nations international financial 
institution that provides loans to developing countries for capital 
programs.

engineers observe the task and after 
that check the employee details.
Interviewing 
In this the manager or the selection comity of 
organization talk to employee and specially cheek 
the employee mind and ideas, confidence and also 
asks question about his personal or social life and 
also they ask about the announced job.
3 Questionnaire 
•In this they ask in written statement in short way 
about your abilities experience, trainings and skills 
and also about your C.V or Bio data.

  • 3. Def: the process of collecting analyzing and get information about the job. And it determines the details and requirements about the specific job
  • 4. Purpose of job analysis The purpose of job analysis is very important for selection of job evaluation, job designing and benefits packages and the development needs.

  • 6. Selection It is a process by which organization selecting the employees and. it helps in determining what kind of person is required to perform a particular job. And also point out the qualification, level of experience, technical, physical and personal skills required to carry out a job. The objective is to fit a right person at a right place or at right work.
  • 7. Training and development job analysis can be used to asses the training and development needs of employee. The difference between the expected and actual output determine the level of training that need to be important to employee.  Determine the future needs or think and plan about the employee need in future.
  • 8. Compensation Management Basically this is a management which thinks and plan about the employee financial help and we can say the employee receive the salary by the compensation management.
