Responsibilities:
Oversee and drive all aspects of human resources activities for factories located in Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania. The
position’s Main focus is: Recruiting and Staffing; HR payroll related functions, Safety, and Employee Relations.
Orientation: a key member of the Techo-Bloc HR Staff, and Pen Argyl Plant Staff.
Implementation and Planning:
Ensure the implementation of Techo-Bloc Safety Program is in place and people are engaged.
Ensure staffing for all positions is proactively achieved, on boarding is completed, and Safety training is in place.
Ensure the implementation, monitoring, evaluation of the Company’s HR strategies and procedures
Analyze the organizational needs, identify opportunities and risks in order to reach the Company’s objectives
Support the analysis of the Company’s compensation structure in the Midwest developing relationships with local
agencies and peer companies.
Ensure Employee Relations programs are in place, active, and people are engaged.
Ensure key relationships are developed and sustained with outside agencies Gov. OSHA, Technical Schools, Etc.
to ensure Techo-Bloc Brand is represented in a positive manner.
Communication:
Ensure awareness of the actual pulse of the Pen Argyl work environment is known by HR Director, Pen Argyl
Operations Manager, along with ideas on how to proactively address situations.
Support local business leaders to proactively address situations.
Positively influence change, speak as a Techo-Bloc ambassador, be seen and heard as a Leader
Communicate, implement and enforce policies and procedures.
Advise managers, supervisors and employees on all HR matters including incentives, benefits, wellness, health
and safety and training programs
Deliver training presentations using creative and relevant methods
Address employee concerns, get on the floor and interact with employees, Chiefs, Supervisors.
Have regular communication with employees to ensure that morale is held at high standard
Motivate staff, Lead by example.
Verification:
Support the Standardization of all Techo-Bloc processes and procedures to ensure conformity and ensure all are
in compliance with local and State laws and regulations.

Oversee all annual HR process: Performance, Compensation actions and analysis, Benefits programs, etc. on a
tactical basis.
Own and oversee day to day Human Resources shop floor matters and employee engagement to ensure the
workplace environment is healthy and issues are resolved; including disciplinary program.
HR GENERALIST JOB DUTIES:
Knowledge of ADP Workforcenow and ADP payroll a plus.
Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development
and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and
policies and procedures manual.
Develops and maintains EEO-1 report annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO
regulations. OSHA Logs, etc.
Conducts recruitment effort for exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees; conducts
new-employee orientations.
Employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals.
Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of
department and services performed.
Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration, effective oral and written
communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
Must have excellent Excel spreadsheet acumen.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of (2-4) years of experience, HR Generalist; preferably in manufacturing, or related degree.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred
