This diversity training workshop aims to: promote racial harmony, facilitate cultural competence, enhance self-awareness, teach de-escalation skills, and combat implicit bias. The training will use historical context, current issues, and psychological theories to teach self-analysis, cognitive behavioral, and self-regulation techniques over three sessions. The goal is to provide a cognitive framework to heighten sensitivity toward others by helping participants better understand themselves.

Whenever there is communication

diversity. In its purest form,
diversity means difference. How
each of us deal with difference is
oftentimes reflected in our
communication style.
