Philosophy
Whenever there is communication
between two people, you have
diversity. In its purest form,
diversity means difference. How
each of us deal with difference is
oftentimes reflected in our
communication style.

I believe that communication
style is directly related to how an
individual might feel about “self”
and that gaining a deeper
understanding of “self” tends to
help improve one’s communication
style which helps bridge the
diversity gap.

The Training
I have designed a three-session diversity
training workshop that is based on historical
context, current issues, and psychological
theories.
The training will teach participants:
Self- Analysis Techniques
Cognitive Behavioral Techniques
Self-Regulation (De-escalation)
Techniques

Goal
This training will focus on diversity
from an historical and psychological
perspectives. My goal is to provide a
cognitive restructure (a new way of
thinking) that will heighten sensitivity
toward others by helping the participant
understand “self.”
