Professional Profile
I am currently employed as Crew Scheduling Manager for NSW/Vic and have worked for Pacific
National in strategic and tactical workforce planning and plan delivery for over 15 years. I have
experience in managing teams that develop short and long term labour strategies and
maintaining labour schedules delivering optimal performance to the business. My experience
includes the development, consultation and implementation of master rosters, enterprise
agreements and strategies for new and current business to optimise efficient and effective
labour capabilities.
I communicate and engage with service delivery and customer service teams daily and have
strong and positive relationships with them striving for one team one plan.
I believe in our core values and lead and coach my teams and other teams to work to our values
and standards with a focus on exceeding all customers expectations.
I am committed to home safely everyday and strive to have all team members build a safety
culture consistent with our values.
During my time with Pacific National I have been accountable for the successful integration of
business which includes setting up and relocating the Southern Coal crew planning functions
from Parramatta to Inner Harbour, relocating the entire Victorian crew planning function from
to Parramatta and successfully optimising that function from 4 planners to 1 at the same time
improving customer expectations.
In 2014 Pacific National restructured its business and integrated the Newcastle and Parramatta
planning groups. As part of this restructure I was appointed to my current role and was
responsible for integrating the crew scheduling for the entire NSW/Vic business. This involved
the relocation of roles from both Parramatta and Newcastle offices and has been highly
successful in our ability to exceed customer expectations and has also significantly reduced work
being sub contracted to other operators removing lost revenue.
I have been through numerous business restructures with Pacific national and I believe IPS to be
the most important restructure I have been involved with to take our business into the future. I
understand the challenges IPS will provide and I am excited by the opportunities this will
provide our business and all our employee’s that want and succeed in being involved. Leading
teams to improve and change their work culture, improve performance and foster a team
culture within IPS will be rewarding and have positive outcomes for our business, customers and
workforce.
