Generations Working Together is a Scottish organization established in 2007 that brings together young and old people through intergenerational activities and digital training. It aims to promote understanding between generations and build more cohesive communities. It receives government funding and coordinates 34 local networks that meet regularly and offer events. Intergenerational practice is defined as mutually beneficial activities that challenge age stereotypes. Examples provided include an intergenerational digital quiz, using technology like speed texting and gaming consoles, and digital manufacturing training through a university project. The goals are to encourage digital participation, share skills, and increase digital literacy and confidence for all ages.

The together program is centrally managed by Carers NSW and funded by the NSW Department of Family and Community Services, Ageing, Disability and Home Care.

In 2017 the National Library of Ireland took active steps to become a more diverse and inclusive cultural institution. A Gender Policy and Diversity Strategy Focus Group made up of Library staff, met to discuss how to improve diversity and inclusion in the Library; covering topics such as programming, collections, acquisitions, exhibitions, digitisation and the building itself. From this group, a Diversity and Inclusion Committee was established and with the help of an external facilitator, a Diversity and Inclusion Policy was drafted, approved and published. The policy was launched by the Minister of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht with various invited guests, representing diverse groups in Irish society in attendance.
In partnership with the Creative Ireland Programme, in early February 2019, the NLI will hold a consultative workshop on the policy in the style of a World Cafe; the event will bring together representatives from various diverse communities in Ireland. The forum will focus on the policy and invite attendees to provide feedback on how the NLI can collaborate more effectively with underrepresented communities. The aim of the World Café is to provide insight on how to better represent diverse communities in Ireland and facilitate more inclusive access to the National Library of Ireland.
This presentation will discuss the outcomes of the workshop and how the NLI will take practical steps to represent diverse communities in Ireland through its collections, events and accessibility.

There seems to be some frustration with the level of spending by government agencies like Enterprise Ireland and the HSE on connected health and telehealth initiatives versus the fragmented results that have been achieved so far. Some potential responses are:
- Large initiatives take time to implement properly and yield results at a systemic level. It's still early days for many of these investments and programs.
- Interoperability and standards are challenging issues that require coordination across many stakeholders, from technology providers to healthcare organizations to policymakers. Resolving these problems will help maximize the impact of investments.

There seems to be some frustration with the level of spending by government agencies like Enterprise Ireland and the HSE on connected health and telehealth initiatives versus the fragmented results that have been achieved so far. Some potential responses are:
- Large initiatives take time to implement properly and yield results at a systemic level. It's still early days for many of these investments and programs.
- Interoperability and standards are challenging issues that require coordination across many stakeholders, from technology providers to healthcare organizations to policymakers. Resolving these problems will help maximize the impact of investments.
- More could potentially be done to facilitate partnerships between funded projects/companies to help integrate solutions and accelerate real-world adoption. Ensuring funded solutions work well together

Ageing in urban environments has received significant policy and practice attention, through the WHO Age-friendly Cities and Communities (AFCC) movement and associated guidelines to support active ageing by optimizing opportunities for health, participation and security in order to enhance quality

As we strive to build an intergenerational nation within Scotland it is increasingly important to recognise the benefits which come from developing an intergenerational approach for children and young people, supporting them through intergenerational learning opportunities to experience, understand and value the diversity and difference that comes with ageing. This session will explore how intergenerational learning for children and young people can be offered creatively not only within education but also as part of extracurricular activities, developing a pathway of creative intergenerational learning opportunities in the community.

GWT International Conference 2022 - Project GOALD
This 3 year project aims to design, test, and evaluate digital tools to facilitate structured physical activity programs for older adults. It will examine using digital approaches for two existing initiatives: intergenerational physical activity (IGPA) and sports-based intergenerational reminiscence (SBIR). The project will involve co-production groups of older adults and younger people providing input into digital design and testing products. It will also involve working with an existing program called "Generations Active Together" that has university students lead physical activity sessions for older adults. Measures will assess experiences, attitudes and capacities of both older and younger participants.

A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.
