Cloud computing is a paradigm evolution that benefits from virtualisation technologies and introduces “everything-as-a-service” as a technical and business concept supported by pay-per-use pricing models. Whilst the on-demand characteristics of this novel paradigm provide revolutionary advances in technical ability, the changes while incorporating this into an IT infrastructure raise many complex problems and risks with regards to auditing. Auditing is the process of tracing and logging significant events the take place during the system run-time for analysis, and can be seen as a vital tool in validating and securing systems.

A robust and verifiable threshold multi authority access control system in pu...IJARIIT
Attribute-based Encryption is observed as a promising cryptographic leading tool to assurance data owners’ direct
regulator over their data in public cloud storage. The former ABE schemes include only one authority to maintain the whole
attribute set, which can carry a single-point bottleneck on both security and performance. Then, certain multi-authority
schemes are planned, in which numerous authorities distinctly maintain split attribute subsets. However, the single-point
bottleneck problem remains unsolved. In this survey paper, from another perspective, we conduct a threshold multi-authority
CP-ABE access control scheme for public cloud storage, named TMACS, in which multiple authorities jointly manage a
uniform attribute set. In TMACS, taking advantage of (t, n) threshold secret allocation, the master key can be shared among
multiple authorities, and a lawful user can generate his/her secret key by interacting with any t authorities. Security and
performance analysis results show that TMACS is not only verifiable secure when less than t authorities are compromised, but
also robust when no less than t authorities are alive in the system. Also, by efficiently combining the traditional multi-authority
scheme with TMACS, we construct a hybrid one, which satisfies the scenario of attributes coming from different authorities as
well as achieving security and system-level robustness.

cloud computing is also facing many challenges that, if not well resolved, may impede its fast growth. Data security, as it exists in many other applications, is among these challenges that would raise great concerns from users when they store sensitive information on cloud servers. These concerns originate from the fact that cloud servers are usually operated by commercial providers which are very likely to be outside of the trusted domain of the users. Data confidential against cloud servers is hence frequently desired when users outsource data for storage in the cloud.

Enhanced Data Partitioning Technique for Improving Cloud Data Storage SecurityEditor IJMTER
Cloud computing is a model for enabling for on demand network access to shared
configurable computing resources (e.g. networks, servers, storage, applications, and services). It is
based on virtualization and distributed computing technologies. Cloud Data storage systems enable
user to store data efficiently on server without any trouble of data resources. User can easily store
and retrieve their data remotely. The two biggest concerns about cloud data storage are reliability and
security. Clients aren’t like to entrust their data to another third party or companies without a
guarantee that they will be able to access therein formations whenever they want. In the existing
system, the data are stored in the cloud using dynamic data operation with computation which makes
the user need to make a copy for further updating and verification of the data loss. Different
distributed storing auditing techniques are used for overcoming the problem of data loss. Recent
work of this paper has show that data partitioning technique used for data storage by providing
Digital signature to every partitioning data and user .this technique allow user to upload or retrieve
the data with matching the digital signatures provided to them. This method ensures high cloud
storage integrity, enhanced error localization and easy identification of misbehaving server and
unauthorized access to the cloud server. Hence this work aims to store the data securely in reduced
space with less time and computational cost.
Survey on Privacy- Preserving Multi keyword Ranked Search over Encrypted Clou...Editor IJMTER
The advent of cloud computing, data owners are motivated to outsource their complex
data management systems from local sites to commercial public cloud for great flexibility and
economic savings. But for protecting data privacy, sensitive data has to be encrypted before
outsourcing.Considering the large number of data users and documents in cloud, it is crucial for
the search service to allow multi-keyword query and provide result similarity ranking to meet the
effective data retrieval need. Related works on searchable encryption focus on single keyword
search or Boolean keyword search, and rarely differentiate the search results. We first propose a
basic MRSE scheme using secure inner product computation, and then significantly improve it to
meet different privacy requirements in two levels of threat models. The Incremental High Utility
Pattern Transaction Frequency Tree (IHUPTF-Tree) is designed according to the transaction
frequency (descending order) of items to obtain a compact tree.
By using high utility pattern the items can be arranged in an efficient manner. Tree structure
is used to sort the items. Thus the items are sorted and frequent pattern is obtained. The frequent
pattern items are retrieved from the database by using hybrid tree (H-Tree) structure. So the
execution time becomes faster. Finally, the frequent pattern item that satisfies the threshold value
is displayed.

A Secure, Scalable, Flexible and Fine-Grained Access Control Using Hierarchic...Editor IJCATR
Cloud Computing is going to be very popular technology in IT enterprises. For any enterprise the data stored is very huge
and invaluable. Since all tasks are performed through network it has become vital to have the secured use of legitimate data. In cloud
computing the most important matter of concern are data security and privacy along with flexibility, scalability and fine grained access
control of data being the other requirements to be maintained by cloud systems Access control is one of the prominent research topics
and hence various schemes have been proposed and implemented. But most of them do not provide flexibility, scalability and fine
grained access control of the data on the cloud. In order to address the issues of flexibility, scalability and fine grained access control
of remotely stored data on cloud we have proposed the hierarchical attribute set-based encryption (HASBE) which is the extension of
attribute- set-based encryption(ASBE) with a hierarchical structure of users. The proposed scheme achieves scalability by handling the
authority to appropriate entity in the hierarchical structure, inherits flexibility by allowing easy transfer and access to the data in case
of location switch. It provides fine grained access control of data by showing only the requested and authorized details to the user thus
improving the performance of the system. In addition, it provides efficient user revocation within expiration time, request to view
extra-attributes and privacy in the intra-level hierarchy is achieved. Thus the scheme is implemented to show that is efficient in access
control of data as well as security of data stored on cloud with comprehensive experiments
Improve HLA based Encryption Process using fixed Size Aggregate Key generationEditor IJMTER
Cloud computing is an innovative idea for IT industries which provides several services to
users. In cloud computing secure authentication and data integrity of data is a major challenge, due to
internal and external threats. For improvement in data security over cloud, various techniques are
used.MAC based authentication is one of them, which suffers from undesirable systematic demerits
which have bounded usage and not secure verification, which may pose additional online load to users,
in a public auditing setting. Reliable and secure auditing are also challenging in cloud. In Cloud auditing
existing audit systems are based on aggregate key HLA algorithm. This algorithm is based on variable
sizes, different aggregate key generation, which encounters with security issues at decryption level.
Current Scheme generates a high length of key decryption that encounters with problem of space
complexity. To overcome these issues, We can improve HLA algorithm by improve aggregate key
generation, based on fixed key size. This algorithm generates constant aggregate key which will
overcomes problem of sharing of keys, security issues and space complexity.
Secure Redundant Data Avoidance over Multi-Cloud Architecture. IJCERT JOURNAL
Redundant data avoidance systems, the Private Cloud are involved as a proxy to allow data owner/users to securely perform duplicate check with differential privileges. Such architecture is practical and has attracted much attention from researchers. The data owners only outsource their data storage by utilizing public cloud while the data operation is managed in private cloud, in this connection our presented system has follows traditional encryption while providing data confidentiality, is incompatible with redundant data avoidance. Identical data copies of different users will lead to different ciphertexts, making data avoidance impossible. To address above issues convergent encryption technique has been proposed to encrypt the data before outsourcing. To better protect data security, this paper makes the first attempt to formally address the problem of authorized redundant data avoidance. Different from traditional redundant data avoidance systems, the differential privileges of users are further considered in duplicate check besides the data itself. We also present several new redundant data avoidance constructions supporting authorized duplicate check in a multi-cloud architecture. Security analysis demonstrates that our scheme is secure in terms of the definitions specified in the proposed security model. In order to perform secure access controlling scheme user may satisfy fine-grained approach at cloud level towards access restricting from unauthorized users or adversaries.
Enhanced security framework to ensure data security in cloud using security b...eSAT Journals
Abstract Data security and Access control is a challenging research work in Cloud Computing. Cloud service users upload there private and confidential data over the cloud. As the data is transferred among the server and client, the data is to be protected from unauthorized entries into the server, by authenticating the user’s and provide high secure priority to the data. So the Experts always recommend using different passwords for different logins. Any normal person cannot possibly follow that advice and memorize all their usernames and passwords. That is where password managers come in. The purpose of this paper is to secure data from unauthorized person using Security blanket algorithm.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

It pp hybrid attribute- and re-encryption-based key management for secure and scalable mobile applications in clouds
1. HYBRID ATTRIBUTE- AND RE-ENCRYPTION-BASED
KEY MANAGEMENT FOR SECURE AND SCALABLE
MOBILE APPLICATIONS IN CLOUDS
Presented by:
LansA Informatics Pvt Ltd
2. ABSTRACT
Outsourcing data to the cloud are beneficial for reasons of economy,
scalability, and accessibility, but significant technical challenges
remain. Sensitive data stored in the cloud must be protected from
being read in the clear by a cloud provider that is honest but curious.
Additionally, cloud-based data are increasingly being accessed by
resource-constrained mobile devices for which the processing and
communication cost must be minimized.
Novel modifications to attribute-based encryption are proposed to allow
authorized users access to cloud data based on the satisfaction of
required attributes such that the higher computational load from
cryptographic operations is assigned to the cloud provider and the
total communication cost is lowered for the mobile user.
3. Abstract cont’d
• Furthermore, data re-encryption may be optionally performed by the
cloud provider to reduce the expense of user revocation in a mobile
user environment while preserving the privacy of user data stored in
the cloud.
• The proposed protocol has been realized on commercially popular
mobile and cloud platforms to demonstrate real-world benchmarks
that show the efficacy of the scheme.
• A simulation calibrated with the benchmark results shows the
scalability potential of the scheme in the context of a realistic
workload in a mobile cloud computing system
4. EXISTING SYSTEM
Data outsourcing to a cloud is appropriate for any class of applications that
requires data to be kept in storage and disseminated to many users. Clients
that engage a cloud provider typically only pay for the amount of storage,
related computation, and amount of network communication actually
consumed; they do not incur the capital and maintenance costs of an in-house
solution.
In addition, the cloud provider offers the advantages of automatic backup and
replication to ensure the safety, longevity, and high accessibility of the user
data. A major concern that is typically not sufficiently addressed in practice,
however, is that data, by default, are stored in the clear; it may be accessed
and read by a cloud administrator without knowledge of the client.
A cloud administrator may not be trusted despite the presence of contractual
security obligations, if data security is not further enforced through technical
means. An additional risk is that sensitive data carry the persistent risk of being
intercepted by an unauthorized party despite safeguards promised by the
provider. Therefore, it is useful to apply software techniques, such as
encryption key management, to ensure that the confidentiality of cloud data is
preserved at all times. It is especially crucial to safeguard sensitive user data
such as e-mails, personal customer information, financial records, and medical
records
5. DIS ADVANTAGES
• It is not secure.
• There is no confidentiality.
• It is especially crucial to safeguard sensitive
user data
6. PROPOSED SYSTEM
A protocol for outsourcing data storage to a cloud provider in secure
fashion is provided. The provider is unable to read stored data;
authorized users may do so based on qualification through possession
of the right attributes without arbitration by the data owner.
The protocol is designed to be efficient for resource-constrained
mobile users by delegating computation and requests to a cloud
provider or trusted authority, where appropriate, without compromising
security. An improvement is made over a traditional attribute based
encryption scheme, such that responsibility over key generation is
divided between a mobile data owner and a trusted authority; the
owner is relieved of the highest computational and messaging
burdens.
Additional security is provided through a group keying mechanism; the
data owner controls access based on the distribution of an additional
secret key, beyond possession of the required attributes. This
additional security measure is an optional variant applicable to highly
sensitive data subject to frequent access. Re-encryption, as a process
of transforming the stored ciphertext, permits efficient revocation of
users; it does not require removal of attributes and subsequent key
regeneration, and may be administered by a trusted authority without
involvement of the data owner
