Accomplishments
While in product development successfully led several 2G/3G/4G cell phone antenna/RF systems designs from
the concept to operator acceptance, including but not limited to StarTAC (iconic 2G), A920/A925/A1000/M1000
(first 3G Smartphones), Bruce/Profile (first 4G platforms). Also led and/or support teams of EE/ME/antenna
engineers in several other 3G/4G RF/Antenna projects. Currently as Distinguished Member of Technical Staff of
Antenna Innovation Research, I’m part of the team creating a novel topology of handset 5G millimeter-wave
antenna designs, also Motorola antenna SME delegating in CTIA, 3GPP RAN4, COST and EURACON (OTA
chair), defining standards related to MIMO antenna design and Over the Air measurements.

Eleven peer reviewed publications, and over 120 standards technical documents (CTIA, 3GPP RAN4 and COST).
