In this paper, The mobile application field has been receiving astronomical attention from the
past few years due to the growing number of mobile app downloads and withal due to the
revenues being engendered .With the surge in the number of apps, the number of lamentable
apps/failing apps has withal been growing.Interesting mobile app statistics are included in this
paper which might avail the developers understand the concerns and merits of mobile apps.The
authors have made an effort to integrate all the crucial factors that cause apps to fail which
include negligence by the developers, technical issues, inadequate marketing efforts, and high
prospects of the users/consumers.The paper provides suggestions to eschew failure of apps. As
per the various surveys, the number of lamentable/failing apps is growing enormously, primarily
because mobile app developers are not adopting a standard development life cycle for the
development of apps. In this paper, we have developed a mobile application with the aid of
traditional software development life cycle phases (Requirements, Design, Develop, Test, and,
Maintenance) and we have used UML, M-UML, and mobile application development
technologies.

In the past 10 years, the research community has produced a significant number of design notations to
represent security properties and concepts in a design artifact. The need to improve the security of software
has become a key issue for developers.The security function needs to be incorporated into the software
development process at the requirement, analysis, design, and implementation stages as doing so may help
to smooth integration and to protect systems from attack. Security affects all aspects ofa software program,
which makes the incorporation of security features a crosscutting concern. Therefore, this paper looks at
the feasibility and potential advantages of employing an aspect orientation approach in the software
development lifecycle to ensure efficient integration of security.These notations are aimed at documenting
and analyzing security in a software design model. It also proposes a model called the Aspect-Oriented
Software Security Development Life Cycle (AOSSDLC), which covers arrange of security activities and
deliverables for each development stage. It is concluded that aspect orientation is one of the best options
available for installing security features not least because of the benefit that no changes need to be made to
the existing software structure.
A MACHINE LEARNING APPROACH TO ANOMALY-BASED DETECTION ON ANDROID PLATFORMSIJNSA Journal
The emergence of mobile platforms with increased storage and computing capabilities and the pervasive
use of these platforms for sensitive applications such as online banking, e-commerce and the storage of sensitive information on these mobile devices have led to increasing danger associated with malware targeted at these devices. Detecting such malware presents inimitable challenges as signature-based detection techniques available today are becoming inefficient in detecting new and unknown malware. In
this research, a machine learning approach for the detection of malware on Android platforms is presented. The detection system monitors and extracts features from the applications while in execution and uses them to perform in-device detection using a trained K-Nearest Neighbour classifier. Results shows high performance in the detection rate of the classifier with accuracy of 93.75%, low error rate of
6.25% and low false positive rate with ability of detecting real Android malware.

Nolong.in application is an exact solution because it can send real time notifications to its users. This response is meant to assist individuals who have been using Nolong.in to help other users who need urgent help when the time of incident in order to prevent unwanted situations. In this research, push notification method has been implemented by using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). The result of the research is the notification click ratio is 90.91% and the click time is 1 minute and 27 seconds. Based on the questionnaires’ results given to the community conclude that Nolong.in application is very beneficial for Gojek Cikarang community's safety.

Success of any software system largely looms upon its vigilance efficiency that prompts organizations to
meet the set of objectives in the arena of networks. In the highly competitive world, everything appears to
be vulnerable; information system is also not an exception to this fact. The security of information system
has become a cause of great concern. On the contrary, till time the software security engineers are trying
hard to develop fully protected and highly secured information systems but all these developments are at
nascent stages. It is quite revelling that in the earlier research studies, little attention is paid to highlight an
accurate status of the security alertness for developed software. Hence, keeping all these factors at the
backdrop, this paper is an attempt to propose a holistic Security Maturity Model (SMM), in which five
levels/stars have been developed, driven on the strength of the security vigilance occurring at the various
stages for any software. SMM is in its conceptual stage; the detailed steps will certainly require time to be
developed so that every software system can reap out the benefits of this model. To categorize/discriminate
the level of potency, SMM will be highlighted through appropriate ranking/star system. It is hoped that if
SMM will be followed in its true letter and sprit; undoubtedly, this will restore the clients’ trust and
confidence on the software as well as their corresponding vendors. Moreover, this will also enable software
industry to follow transparent and ethical practices.
The cyber attacks have become most prevalent in the past few years. During this time, attackers have discovered new vulnerabilities to carry out malicious activities on the internet. Both the clients and the servers have been victimized by the attackers. Clickjacking is one of the attacks that have been adopted by the attackers to deceive the innocuous internet users to initiate some action. Clickjacking attack exploits one of the vulnerabilities existing in the web applications. This attack uses a technique that allows cross domain attacks with the help of userinitiated clicks and performs unintended actions. This paper traces out the vulnerabilities that make a website vulnerable to clickjacking attack and proposes a solution for the same.

This study examines the traditional approach to software development within the United Kingdom Government and the accreditation process. Initially we look at the Waterfall methodology that has been used for several years. We discuss the pros and cons of Waterfall before moving onto the Agile Scrum methodology. Agile has been adopted by the majority of Government digital departments including the Government Digital Services. Agile, despite its ability to achieve high rates of productivity organized in short, flexible, iterations, has faced security professionals’ disbelief when working within the U.K. Government. One of the major issues is that we develop in Agile but the accreditation process is conducted using Waterfall resulting in delays to go live dates. Taking a brief look into the accreditation process that is used within Government for I.T. systems and applications, we focus on giving the accreditor the assurance they need when developing new applications and systems. A framework has been produced by utilising the Open Web Application Security Project’s (OWASP) Application Security Verification Standard (ASVS). This framework will allow security and Agile to work side by side and produce secure code.

The optimization of hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems plays a pivotal role in utilizing natural resources effectively. This initiative not only benefits humanity but also fosters environmental sustainability. The study investigated the design optimization of these hybrid systems, focusing on understanding solar radiation patterns, identifying geographical influences on solar radiation, formulating a mathematical model for system optimization, and determining the optimal configuration of PV panels and pumped hydro storage. Through a comparative analysis approach and eight weeks of data collection, the study addressed key research questions related to solar radiation patterns and optimal system design. The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions. Additionally, the study provides valuable insights for advancing energy research in economically viable areas. Recommendations included conducting site-specific assessments, utilizing advanced modeling tools, implementing regular maintenance protocols, and enhancing communication among system components.
