Visual victim detection and quadrotor-swarm coordination control in search an...IJECEIAES
We propose a distributed victim-detection algorithm through visual information on quadrotors using convolutional neuronal networks (CNN) in a search and rescue environment. Describing the navigation algorithm, which allows quadrotors to avoid collisions. Secondly, when one quadrotor detects a possible victim, it causes its closest neighbors to disconnect from the main swarm and form a new sub-swarm around the victim, which validates the victim’s status. Thus, a formation control that permits to acquire information is performed based on the well-known rendezvous consensus algorithm. Finally, images are processed using CNN identifying potential victims in the area. Given the uncertainty of the victim detection measurement among quadrotors’ cameras in the image processing, estimation consensus (EC) and max-estimation consensus (M-EC) algorithms are proposed focusing on agreeing over the victim detection estimation. We illustrate that M-EC delivers better results than EC in scenarios with poor visibility and uncertainty produced by fire and smoke. The algorithm proves that distributed fashion can obtain a more accurate result in decision-making on whether or not there is a victim, showing robustness under uncertainties and wrong measurements in comparison when a single quadrotor performs the mission. The well-functioning of the algorithm is evaluated by carrying out a simulation using V-Rep.

Smartphone Controlled Robotic Vehicle with Unique Bearing Alignment Mechanism...ijtsrd
Robotics technology is rapidly developing in engineering because it can automate complex activities with higher accuracy and speed. Previously, only trained humans in a bomb suit could do duties that automated and autonomous equipment can now perform. In many situations, human attention is not required, such as discovering and spreading explosives, monitoring a site, or identifying land mines. For safety reasons, the robotic vehicle in this project will use a 6 degree robotic arm to pick and place a dangerous object. The robot vehicle is remote operated using an Android application via Bluetooth. The Bluetooth device connects to the microcontroller to run DC motors through a motor driver IC. Any Android smartphone tablet etc. can execute remote control through touch screen GUI Graphical User Interface . In this case, Arduino controls the whole setup, increasing circuit complexity and speed. The robotic system consists of a manipulator, an end effector, a moving base, and a camera for visual inputs. These power the robotic arms joints, linkages, and end effectors. The Rocker Bogie method allows the robot to travel more readily on any terrain. STUDY THE EFFECT OF RESPONSE REDUCTION FACTOR ON RC FRAMED STRUCTUREIRJET Journal
This study examines the effect of response reduction factors (R factors) on reinforced concrete (RC) framed structures through nonlinear dynamic analysis. Three RC frame models with varying heights (4, 8, and 12 stories) were analyzed in ETABS software under different R factors ranging from 1 to 5. The results showed that displacement increased as the R factor decreased, indicating less linear behavior for lower R factors. Drift also decreased proportionally with increasing R factors from 1 to 5. Shear forces in the frames decreased with higher R factors. In general, R factors of 3 to 5 produced more satisfactory performance with less displacement and drift. The displacement variations between different building heights were consistent at different R factors. This study evaluated how R factors influence

This document summarizes a research paper that proposes a smart ambulance system using IoT technology to help clear traffic and prioritize the passage of ambulances during emergencies. The system uses an Android application, GPS, and communication with traffic lights to turn lights green on the ambulance's route. When an ambulance is halted, the app sends an emergency command to a traffic signal server with the ambulance's position from GPS. The closest signal light is identified and turned green until the ambulance passes, then returns to normal operation. This is intended to save lives by reducing traffic delays for emergency vehicles.

Comparative analysis between traditional aquaponics and reconstructed aquapon...bijceesjournal
The aquaponic system of planting is a method that does not require soil usage. It is a method that only needs water, fish, lava rocks (a substitute for soil), and plants. Aquaponic systems are sustainable and environmentally friendly. Its use not only helps to plant in small spaces but also helps reduce artificial chemical use and minimizes excess water use, as aquaponics consumes 90% less water than soil-based gardening. The study applied a descriptive and experimental design to assess and compare conventional and reconstructed aquaponic methods for reproducing tomatoes. The researchers created an observation checklist to determine the significant factors of the study. The study aims to determine the significant difference between traditional aquaponics and reconstructed aquaponics systems propagating tomatoes in terms of height, weight, girth, and number of fruits. The reconstructed aquaponics system’s higher growth yield results in a much more nourished crop than the traditional aquaponics system. It is superior in its number of fruits, height, weight, and girth measurement. Moreover, the reconstructed aquaponics system is proven to eliminate all the hindrances present in the traditional aquaponics system, which are overcrowding of fish, algae growth, pest problems, contaminated water, and dead fish.
