This document describes a study that aims to (1) explore the relationship between life satisfaction and depression on social media by analyzing tweets, and (2) develop a predictive model to detect depressed posts on social media. The researchers collected tweets containing words related to depression and preprocessed the data. They then trained several predictive models and evaluated them using metrics like confusion matrix. The best model showed a negative correlation between life satisfaction and depression and was able to accurately detect depressed posts on social media.

Definition & Pathophysiology of the following Disease Processes/Comorbidities (in your own words):
Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)
RA is an autoimmune chronic inflammatory disorder that affects many joints including those in the hand and feet and with an unknown cause.
In RA, the body’s immune system attacks the lining of the joint capsule, a tough membrane that encloses all the joint parts. This lining (synovial membrane) becomes inflamed and swollen. The disease process can eventually destroy cartilage and bone within the joint
Osteoarthritis (OA)
It is a degenerative joint disease or “wear and tear” and most common form of arthritis that affects joints in hands, knees, hips, and spine. There is no cure, but the symptoms can be changed.
Osteoarthritis occurs when the cartilage that cushions the end of bones in the joints gradually deteriorates. The cartilage is a firm slippery tissue that enables nearly frictionless joint motion. If the cartilage wears down completely, the bone will rub on bone
Thrombophlebitis
Thrombophlebitis is an inflammatory process that causes a blood clot to form and block one or more veins, usually in the legs or arm and causes pain.
The thrombus in the vein causes pain and irritation and may block flow in the veins

Part 8: Stakeholder Engagement Monitor and Control Plan
For the project selected in Unit I, create a simple stakeholder engagement monitor and control plan. Your plan should follow the process for managing and monitoring stakeholder engagement, as referred to in Figures 9.1 and 9.2 in the textbook. Your plan should include an introduction, and should answer the following questions:
· What specific soft skills will you employ in managing project stakeholders?
· What ground rules will you establish for managing project stakeholders?
· What types of meetings do you plan to have with project stakeholders? How often do you plan to hold them?
· How will you manage change requests from stakeholders?
· How will you monitor stakeholders and levels of stakeholder engagement?
· How will you manage changes to stakeholder requirements?
· What historical documents will you update in the process of managing and monitoring stakeholders?
Create the stakeholder management and control plan that addresses the questions above. Feel free to use tables, graphics, or document template examples to summarize your policy and approach. As a guide to depth, your stakeholder management and control plan should be a minimum of two pages in length. If you use tables, you may either create your table in Word and include it at the end of the document, or submit it as a separate Excel file.

As a UX Researcher or Product Designer for a self-care App to help young professionals better cope with stress and anxiety so that they can reach their full potential and improve their overall wellbeing, I led this project and completed it with two teammates within 2 weeks.
The goal is to understand the users pain points and discover the User Insights through the cycles of empathizing (user research), defining (prioritize problems), ideating (brainstorming), prototyping (paper sketch and digital wireframe) and testing (usability) and continuous iteration.
Overall this project has been a wonderful experience for me, not only because I better understand the design thinking and user centered iterative process, but also because as a team we were able to communicate our thoughts, challenge each other, work through disagreement and closely follow our plan through every step.
We had great success in generating a broad spectrum of user data, from in depth user interviews to an online Survey that gathered over 150 responses. Though we know data is great, it proved quite challenging going through 1000’s of responses, synthesizing, and interpreting so much while maintaining integrity. We found it helpful to focus on trends and key pain points there where present across the spectrum of data we collected. Based on our findings, we choose to go with a design that was simple, minimalist, and focused on effective simple and proven methods that combat stress and anxiety and improve overall well being.

This week we explore the social-ecological model and the Swearer and Hymel (2015) article does a nice job of describing this model as applied to the problem of bullying. In working on your social change project this week you will be applying the social-ecological model to the topic you are addressing for your social change portfolio/project. The levels addressed in the social-ecological model in this article include individual, family, peer group, school, and community. Because of this specific topic, school is an important dimension. However, this dimension may not apply to your specific social change project depending on the target population. Thus, if "school" does not apply then you can simply have individual, family, peer group, and community. "Peer group" .

Dissertation Prospectus Comment by Astur, Robert: Hi James,
Thanks for sharing this. I can see that you have worked hard on this and that you have a passion for this field. We are going to ZOOM tonight, so I want to get you back my first set of comments before we talk. Going forward, you will need to address a number of things:
1) It is not clear what the gap is. Why does this research need to be done? What has been done so far and how will this project help to close that gap? You cite one study by Bowdoin which clearly stated that PCMH does not affect expenditures or care. So, how is this a gap?
2) You need to provide scientific citations for your statements. You cannot rely on CDC and other websites because they are not peer-reviewed and are less reliable. Offhand, you have very few citations to your work.
3) You need to proofread your work or have somebody else proofread it. You have numerous errors throughout, and it is not the role of me or the rest of the committee to fix these for you. They detract from your overall writing.
I look forward to learning more from you over our ZOOM.
Thanks James!
