> Analyse different air-foils to determine which one creates the most efficient wind turbine blade.
Computer Aided Design and Stress Analysis of Nose Landing Gear Barrel (NLGB)IJERA Editor
During the conceptual design phase of aircraft the integration of undercarriage system is very important and it is often difficult to achieve on the first time. The nose wheel landing gear preferred configurations for light naval trainer aircraft. The main objective of this project is to improve the static strength criteria and fatigue life of Nose Landing Gear Barrel considered. The investigations includes preliminary design layout for Nose Landing Gear Barrel and initial sizing has been done. It has been designed and evaluated for strength criteria. A method of analysis for the design of Nose Landing Gear Barrel made up of Al-Cu alloy (BS L 168 T6511) with static loads of axial, bending and normal loads are applied. The geometric modeling of the Nose Landing Gear Barrel was carried out using CAD package CATIA V5 R19 and pre and post processing was done through MSC/PATRAN. The stresses and displacements are obtained with the application of MSC/NASTRAN finite element software.

Numerical Investigation Of Compression Performance Of Different Blade Configu...IJERA Editor
This project work is to investigate the compression efficiency of different configuration of Turbo-Prop Co-Rotor Blade System of Subsonic Axial Flow Compressor. By this method the highly compressed air can be passed over the intake of the engine to the compressor with high mass flow rate in change of low velocity and high pressure ratio. The length of the small rotor is varied in terms of large rotor length by 25,50 & 75% . Each will have three space configuration in terms of diameter of rotor and in the percentage of 5,10,15%. A total of 12 configurations will be simulated to arrive optimum blade configuration. The blades are made in the shape of an airfoil like wing of an aircraft. The engine rotates the propeller blades, which produce lift. This lift is called thrust and moves the aircraft forward. Blades are usually made of high lift airfoil which allows more rotation to generate high pressure for engine. ANSYS- Fluent is commercial software which is robust for most of the fluid dynamic problems and it is used in this project work to evaluate the different configurations of co-rotor propeller system to arrive the best.

“Design and Analysis of a Windmill Blade in Windmill Electric Generation System”IJERA Editor
Wind turbine is a standout amongst the most imperative wellsprings of renewable vitality. Wind turbine extricate active vitality from the wind. A little wind turbine cutting edge was composed and examined in this work. The power execution of little flat hub wind turbines was mimicked in detail utilizing altered blade element momentum methods (BEM). Another sharp edge was planned utilizing diverse assault points (i.e.0o , 5o , 10o ), distinctive speed (4m/s, 5m/s and 12m/s) and rotor span (0.5m and 1m). From this we discover harmony length and power yield hypothetically. Likewise, we chose material for proposed sharp edge.
The flow through the turbine components is associated with energy losses and hence energy
output from turbine is always less than the input energy. The global performance of turbine is
characterized by its overall efficiency. The casing has spiral shape and hence has swirling flow and
flow is subjected to frictional and vortex losses. The passage in stay ring and distributor has solid
vanes and flow passes through the ducts between the vanes is subjected mostly frictional losses.
Since runner is the most important component of mixed flow turbine and its design i.e. the blade
profile, number of blades plays vital role in overall performance of turbine at all operating regimes.
In the present work the numerical simulation of hydraulic Francis turbine is carried out by using
ANSYS software. The losses in each part of turbine are computed at different operating conditions
by changing the solidity of existing runner. The numerical results for efficiency of existing runner
are validated with experimental values. This study can be used efficiently as a reliable tool for
the practical design and performance analysis of Francis hydraulic turbines.
Design Calculation of 1200W Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine Blade for Rural Appl...ijtsrd
This paper provides to design 1200W horizontal axis wind turbine blade for rural application. The rotor blade is design to produce 1200W power output in order to install at Mandalay Hill of Mandalay City in Myanmar at rated wind velocity 7 m s. The rotor diameter is 2.303m and tip speed ratio is 5. The design process includes the determination of the blade airfoil, pitch angle and chord length distribution along the blade span. By using blade element theory, blade is divided into 10 elements with equal length forming 11 sections throughout the blade. This paper is intended for commercial wind turbine in rural applications. The wind generator can produce 1200W at wind velocity 7 m s. The use of wind energy for electricity is more economical than the conventional electricity generation. It is strongly recommended that the design prototype is economic and competitive for commercialization at any windy places in Myanmar. Advancements in technology unveil a myriad of electrical and electronic breakthroughs geared towards efficiently harnessing limited resources to meet human energy demands. The optimization of hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems plays a pivotal role in utilizing natural resources effectively. This initiative not only benefits humanity but also fosters environmental sustainability. The study investigated the design optimization of these hybrid systems, focusing on understanding solar radiation patterns, identifying geographical influences on solar radiation, formulating a mathematical model for system optimization, and determining the optimal configuration of PV panels and pumped hydro storage. Through a comparative analysis approach and eight weeks of data collection, the study addressed key research questions related to solar radiation patterns and optimal system design. The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions. Additionally, the study provides valuable insights for advancing energy research in economically viable areas. Recommendations included conducting site-specific assessments, utilizing advanced modeling tools, implementing regular maintenance protocols, and enhancing communication among system components.

Terzaghi's soil bearing capacity theory, developed by Karl Terzaghi, is a fundamental principle in geotechnical engineering used to determine the bearing capacity of shallow foundations. This theory provides a method to calculate the ultimate bearing capacity of soil, which is the maximum load per unit area that the soil can support without undergoing shear failure.
