Self compacting concrete SCC is a very fluid concrete and a homogeneous mixture that solves most of the problems related to ordinary concrete. Self Compacting Concrete gets dense and compacted due to its own self weight. An experimental investigation has been carried out to determine different characters like filling ability, passing ability, segregation resistance workability and strength of Self Compacting Concrete SCC . And finally determining the chloride penetrability of SCC. Self Compacted Concrete is generally defined as the “Concrete, which does not need Compaction.†Due to these characteristics, SCC is ideally suited for concreting structures, which have heavily congested reinforcement or difficult access conditions. The experiment work carried out by micro silica as a supplementary material for cement and evaluate
cement for M20 grade of concrete. We are adding 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% by weight of cement in concrete. The
material chosen for structural up gradation should not pollute the environment. They should be accessible to the
ordinary people and low monetary cost. Coconut fibre is abundant, versatile, renewable, cheap and more resistant
thermal conductivity. Coconut fibres have the highest toughness amongst natural fibre. They have potential to be used
as reinforcement in low cost concrete structures, especially in tropical earth quake region. The aim of investigation is
study the possibilities to use coconut fibre in addition to other constituents of concrete and strength properties. The
influence of 1%, 2% and 3% fibre content by mass of cement and aspect ratio 125, fibre cut length 2.80cm is
investigated. To evaluate the effect of coconut fibres improving the properties of concrete.At 1% addition of coconut
fibre, 5% silica fume with water cement ratio 0.53. compressive strength test and split tensile strength gives best result
in concrete.

This project work involves in an experimental study on the concrete by using stone dust and brick dust on the mechanical properties of the concrete. In this experimental study two types admixtures are used in preparation of concrete mix. Stone dust and brick dust are added from 0% to 25% by weight of fine aggregate with increment of 5%. A comparative analysis has been carried out for conventional concrete to that of the admixture concrete in relation to their compressive, split tensile and flexural strength properties. As the stone dust and brick dust content increases in cement concrete, the compressive and split tensile values are proportionally increasing. It is observed that at 20% of stone dust and brick dust is the optimum dosages for concrete mixture.

obtained at lower cost. One such material is Quarry stone dust: a by-product obtained during quarrying process.
Attempts have been made to study the suitability of Quarry dust as sand replacing material and it has been found
that Quarry dust improves the mechanical properties of concrete as well as elastic modulus. The optimum
compressive strength is achieved at the proportion of fine to coarse with 60:40 ratio

Abstract Metal foundries use a large amount of sand as part of the metal casting process. Foundry industries generally recycle and reuse the used foundry sand many times in casting process. When the sand can no longer be reused in the foundry, it is removed from the foundry and is termed as "foundry waste sand." Like many waste products, foundry sand has beneficial applications to other industries. A mixture of silica sand coated with a thin film of burnt carbon and residual binder with traces of dust is termed as foundry sand. From the previous available literature it was found that replacement of sand by foundry sand by certain initial percentages gives a marginal increase in hardened properties of normal strength concrete. In the present work, fine aggregate is replaced by foundry sand with percentages and tests were performed for hardened properties of modified high strength concrete for all replacement levels. Abstract Pervious concrete is a special high porosity concrete used for flatwork applications that allows water from precipitation and other source to pass through there by Reducing the Runoff from a site and Recharging Ground Water Levels. Durability and Water Absorption are important properties of Pervious Concrete. This paper represents the experimental methodology and experimental results related to durability and water absorption. Cylinders of size 100 mm Ø and 200 mm height are prepared to investigate both these properties. This investigation should be carried out at the end of 28 days for water absorption and 56 days for durability in which cylinders are immersed in Sodium Chloride (NaCl) Solution after 28 days of casting. Different concrete mix proportion such as 1:6, 1:8 and 1:10 with different size of gravel such as 18.75 mm and 9.375 mm should be used to check both these properties of pervious concrete. Test results indicates that pervious concrete made by 1:6 concrete mix proportion has more durability and less water absorption and pervious concrete made by 1:10 mix proportion has more water absorption and less durability that’s why durability and water absorption are inversely proportional to each other. Pervious concrete is a concrete composite material consisting of coarse
aggregate, cement and water. Because of the absence of fine aggregate in the mixture,
the aggregates are bonded together at its points of contact by cement paste, resulting
in a high percentage of interconnected voids that, when functioning correctly, permit
the rapid percolation of water through the concrete. In this work, polypropylene
monofilament and fibrillated fibres are selected as raw materials in three varying
percentage. 0.2% of fiber is added by the total volume of concrete and a new method
for determining the permeability of pervious concrete that provides better design
methodology is used. The experimental test values of permeability are discussed and
validated using Avizo software. The mix design is done for the water to binder ratio of
0.30. Coarse aggregate of 10 mm and 4.75 mm are selected in order to reduce the
void content as per the ACI 522R-06 codal provision. The addition of polypropylene
fibers shows enhancement in mechanical properties of the pervious concrete as
expected

The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions. Additionally, the study provides valuable insights for advancing energy research in economically viable areas. Recommendations included conducting site-specific assessments, utilizing advanced modeling tools, implementing regular maintenance protocols, and enhancing communication among system components.
