This document describes research using an artificial neural network model to predict cutting force during orthogonal turning. The researchers developed a MATLAB interface to estimate the effects of cutting parameters like speed, feed rate, and depth of cut on cutting force. They conducted turning experiments on mild steel and measured cutting forces. This experimental data was used to train an ANN model with cutting parameters as inputs and measured cutting forces as outputs. The trained ANN model could then predict cutting forces based on given cutting parameter values, providing a way to estimate experimental results without additional physical tests. Evaluation showed the ANN model provided precise predictions of how cutting parameters influence cutting force.

Finite Element Analysis of Single Point Cutting ToolIJMER
In this project, temperature at tool-tip interface is determined, generated in high-speed machining operations. Specifically, three different analyses are comparing to an experimental measurement of temperature in a machining process at slow speed, medium speed and at high speed. In addition, three analyses are done of a High Speed Steel and of a Carbide Tip Tool machining process at three different cutting speeds, in order to compare to experimental results produced as part of this study. An investigation of heat generation in cutting tool is performed by varying cutting parameters at the suitable cutting tool geometry. The experimental results reveal that the main factors responsible for increasing cutting temperature are cutting speed (v), feed rate (f), and depth of cut (d), respectively. It is also determined that change in cutting speed and depth of cut has the maximum effect on increasing cutting temperature. Various researches have been undertaken in measuring the temperatures generated during cutting operations. Investigators made attempt to measure these cutting temperatures with various techniques during machining.
In this project, “Fluke 62 max IR thermometer” (Range -40 0C to 650 0C) is used for measuring temperature at tool-tip interface. Single point cutting tool has been solid modeled by using CAD Modeler Pro/E and FEA carried out by using ANSYS Workbench 14.5. Experimental work is done at “Khushi Engineering”, Nagpur.
By varying various parameters the effect of those on temperature are compared with the experimental results and FEA results. After comparison nearly 4% variation is found in between the results.

Surface Topology Evaluation of P20 Steel by Multipass Cutting Strategy in Wir...IJERA Editor
Wire EDM process eliminates the work materials by a series of electrical sparks between the workpiece and wire electrode. These sparks creates craters and burs on the machined surface. Machined surface with poor integrity is a major disadvantage of WEDM. This work presents the investigation on multi-pass cutting operation (single rough cut followed by multi trim cuts) in wire electrical discharge machining (WEDM) of p20 steel. Trim cuts were performed using Taguchi’s design of experiment method to investigate the influence of discharge current (Ip), pulse-on time (Ton), pulse-off time, servo voltage and number of trim cuts on two performance characteristics namely cutting rate and surface roughness (SR).Experiments were performed using 0.25mm brass wire. Result shows that the surface finish improves significantly in trim cutting operation.

The selection of optimal cutting parameters in turning operation is very important to
achieve high cutting performance. This paper deals with the optimization of performance
characteristics of turning EN-16 steel alloy using tungsten carbide inserts by Taguchi approach. The
experiments were performed on the basis of an L-18 orthogonal array given by Taguchi’s parameter
design approach. The performance characteristics such as thrust force and Material Removal Rate
(MRR) are optimized with the optimal combination of cutting parameters such as nose radius,
cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) is applied to identify the
most significant factor using MINITAB-16 software. The cutting parameters are varied to observe
the effects on performance characteristics and find the optimal results. Finally, confirmation tests are
performed to verify the experimental results. The results from the confirmation tests proved that the
performance characteristics such as thrust force and MRR are improved simultaneously through
optimal combination of process parameters obtained from Taguchi approach
Optimization of Surface Roughness for EN 1010 Low Alloy Steel on WEDM Using R...IJAEMSJORNAL
The term steel is used for many different alloys of iron. All steels cover small amounts of carbon and manganese. There do exist many types of steels which are(among others) plain carbon steel, stainless steel, alloysteel and tool steel. Carbon steel is the most extensively used kind of steel. The properties of carbon steel depend mainly on the amount of carbon it contains. Maximum carbon steel has a carbon content of less than 1%. Carbon steel is made into an extensive range of products, including structural beams, car bodies. In fact, there are 3 types of plain carbon steel namely low carbon steel, medium carbon steel, high carbon steel. It is good to exact that plain carbon steel is a type of steel having a maximum carbon content of 1.5% along with small percentages of silica, Sulphur, phosphorus and manganese. EN 1010 is a lowest amount of carbonalloy steel alloy with carbon content of 0.10%. Machineability of EN 1010 carbon steel is measured to be fairly good. EN 1010 is usually used for rivets and bolts, construction and automotive applications such as pans, nails and transmission cover. The objective of paper is to study the effect of process parameters namely pulse on time, pulse off time, peak current and servo voltage on surface roughness(SR).The effect of process parameters on productivity and accuracy facts is material dependent. To study parametric effect on Surface Roughness a Central Composite design approach of response surface methodology (RSM) is used to plan and study the experiments. The mathematical relationships between WEDM input process parameters and response parameter namely surface roughness is established to determine optimal values of surface roughness mathematically and graphically. The Analysis of variance (ANOVA) is performed to find statistically significant process parameters. Interaction effects of process parameters on surface roughness are analysed using statistical and graphical representations.

Courier management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
It is now-a-days very important for the people to send or receive articles like imported furniture, electronic items, gifts, business goods and the like. People depend vastly on different transport systems which mostly use the manual way of receiving and delivering the articles. There is no way to track the articles till they are received and there is no way to let the customer know what happened in transit, once he booked some articles. In such a situation, we need a system which completely computerizes the cargo activities including time to time tracking of the articles sent. This need is fulfilled by Courier Management System software which is online software for the cargo management people that enables them to receive the goods from a source and send them to a required destination and track their status from time to time.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.
