This document discusses IP address classes and their characteristics. There are 5 classes - A, B, C, D, and E. Class A addresses range from 1-126 and support up to 16 million hosts per network. Class B addresses range from 128-191 and support up to 65 thousand hosts. Class C addresses range from 192-223 and support up to 254 hosts.
