Fundamental of Pipes for Oil & Gas EngineerVarun Patel
You will learn about fundamental of pipes that used in process piping of oil and gas industries. You will learn different types of pipe and common material and ASTM grades. You will also learn about NPS & Schedule number that used to define pipe size and thickness. You will also learn about double random & single random pipe length, and what is the difference between small bore and large bore pipe.
Within industry, piping is a system of pipes used to convey fluids (liquids and gases) from one location to another. The engineering discipline of piping design studies the efficient transport of fluid
Industrial process piping (and accompanying in-line components) can be manufactured from wood, fiberglass, glass, steel, aluminum, plastic, copper, and concrete. The in-line components, known as fittings, valves, and other devices, typically sense and control the pressure, flow rate and temperature of the transmitted fluid, and usually are included in the field of Piping Design (or Piping Engineering). Piping systems are documented in piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). If necessary, pipes can be cleaned by the tube cleaning process.
"Piping" sometimes refers to Piping Design, the detailed specification of the physical piping layout within a process plant or commercial building. In earlier days, this was sometimes called Drafting, Technical drawing, Engineering Drawing, and Design but is today commonly performed by Designers who have learned to use automated Computer Aided Drawing / Computer Aided Design (CAD) software

Fiatech 2014 - Computer Simulation of Pipe Fabrication, Ramzi LabbanCCT International
Pipe spool fabrication is major component of construction operations on large industrial projects. The nature of spooling is relatively short term involving complex construction process and riddled with uncertainty due to the intrinsic unique nature of its outputs and the numerous factors affecting its activities.
With this in mind, it is important for all stakeholders to have a good grasp of the performance of pipe fabrication shops and their ability to meet the site pipe installation schedules.
In this session you will learn:
Feed documents overview
PFD and P&ID
Process flow diagram
Piping and instrumentation diagram

Propylene Production by Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH)Amir Razmi
In this article a description about different processes which are commercialized to produce propylene via Propane dehydrogenation were presented.
To receive more reports about cost estimation analysis and other reports (about the propylene and PDH ) contact the author.
Storage tanks are used in several phases of the process plants. They can be used to store feed
prior to its use in the facility, as holding tanks for a partially process product awaiting further
processing, or to collect a finished product prior to its delivery or pick‐up by a customer.
Good arrangement of the storage tanks can save in land and cost of plant. In other hand, by
consideration a good nozzle orientation and good piping for these tanks operation problems
will be reduced. In this article we are going to review layout arrangement and piping of storage
tank farms that are related together closely.

Understanding Inductive Bias in Machine LearningSUTEJAS
This presentation explores the concept of inductive bias in machine learning. It explains how algorithms come with built-in assumptions and preferences that guide the learning process. You'll learn about the different types of inductive bias and how they can impact the performance and generalizability of machine learning models.
The presentation also covers the positive and negative aspects of inductive bias, along with strategies for mitigating potential drawbacks. We'll explore examples of how bias manifests in algorithms like neural networks and decision trees.
By understanding inductive bias, you can gain valuable insights into how machine learning models work and make informed decisions when building and deploying them.
