COURSE Objectives LE 1-  DEMONSTRATES KNOWLEDGE OF, INTEREST IN, AND 	RESPECT FOR STUDENTS’ COMMUNITIES AND CULTURES. LE 2-  FOSTERS A SUPPORTIVE AND RESPECTFUL LEARNING 	       	ENVIRONMENT AMONG STUDENTS. LE 3-  MOTIVATES STUDENTS TO LEARN, TAKE ACADEMIC RISKS,   	AND DEMONSTRATE CLASSROOM LEADERSHIP.
 ENDURING UNDERSTANDING STUDENTS FROM NON-DOMINATE GROUPS ACHIEVE AT HIGHER LEVELS WHEN THEIR LEARNING ENVIRONMENT IS TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION. AN EFFECTIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT CONSISTS OF A POSITIVE CLASSROOM CULTURE AND CLIMATE WHERE STUDENTS FEEL RESPECTED, SUPPORTIVE, AND ARE MOTIVATED TO LEARN.
Culture is defined as: A SET OF SHARED ATTITUDES, VALUES, GOALS AND  PRACTICES THAT CHARACTERIZES A GROUP. THESE GROUPS ARE DEFINED RACIALLY, ETHNICALLY,  LINGUISTICALLY, AS WELL AS BY GRADE LEVEL, AGE, INTEREST, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES.

  • 3. PHYSICAL EDUCATION YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP AND ACCESS THE BEST PRACTICES FOR THE FRAMEWORK FOR EFFECTIVE TEACHING. AS YOU GO THROUGH THE FOUR WEEK COURSE, YOU SHOULD CONTINUALLY REFLECT UPON AND ACCESS YOUR CURRENT PRACTICE.
  • 4. COURSE Objectives LE 1- DEMONSTRATES KNOWLEDGE OF, INTEREST IN, AND RESPECT FOR STUDENTS’ COMMUNITIES AND CULTURES. LE 2- FOSTERS A SUPPORTIVE AND RESPECTFUL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT AMONG STUDENTS. LE 3- MOTIVATES STUDENTS TO LEARN, TAKE ACADEMIC RISKS, AND DEMONSTRATE CLASSROOM LEADERSHIP.
  • 5. ENDURING UNDERSTANDING STUDENTS FROM NON-DOMINATE GROUPS ACHIEVE AT HIGHER LEVELS WHEN THEIR LEARNING ENVIRONMENT IS TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION. AN EFFECTIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT CONSISTS OF A POSITIVE CLASSROOM CULTURE AND CLIMATE WHERE STUDENTS FEEL RESPECTED, SUPPORTIVE, AND ARE MOTIVATED TO LEARN.
  • 6. Culture is defined as: A SET OF SHARED ATTITUDES, VALUES, GOALS AND PRACTICES THAT CHARACTERIZES A GROUP. THESE GROUPS ARE DEFINED RACIALLY, ETHNICALLY, LINGUISTICALLY, AS WELL AS BY GRADE LEVEL, AGE, INTEREST, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES.
