Internet of Things, is a new revolution of the Internet. Objects make themselves recognizable and they get intelligence thanks to the fact that they can communicate information about themselves and they can access information that has been aggregated by other things. Alarm clocks go off early if there’s traffic; plants communicate to the sprinkler system when it’s time for them to be watered; running shoes communicate time, speed and distance so that their wearers can compete in real time with people on the other side of the world; medicine containers tell your family members if you forget to take the medicine. All objects can get an active role thanks to their connection to the Internet.

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

2. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a scenario in which objects,
animals or people are provided with unique identifiers and
the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring
human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction. IoT has
evolved from the convergence of wireless technologies , and
the Internet.
The IoT is significant because an object that can represent
itself digitally becomes something greater than the object by
itself. No longer does the object relate just to you, but is now
connected to surrounding objects and database data.
3. Latest trends that I spotted in internet of things is
that Embedded Mobiles.
Nowadays everything got imbedded into a mobile
whether it’s a Microsoft Office, File sharing
through internet, high resolution games etc.
In next five years I would say that everyone carry
mini computers in their pocket which enable them
carry out every task that require PC.
4. I am interested in developing new android
apps,software,projects through programming
language although I am not fully trained in
doing so that’s why I want to learn through this
opportunity given by Mphasis who provide me
a platform to enhanced my skills.
Since technology is changing rapidly therefore
I want to design such software or any
application that can fulfill today’s human needs
and wants.
5. If I have given a internship in these areas definitely I
will do where I can apply my skills and knowledge to
achieve a particular goal.
