Consumers and businesses alike are anticipating the next big innovation. They are all set to embrace the ground-breaking impact of the Internet of Things on our lives like ATMs that report crimes around them, forks that tell you if you are eating fast, or IP address for each organ of your body for doctors to connect and check,.
In 2018, IoT will see tremendous growth in all directions; the following 8 trends are the main developments we predict for next year:

Internet of Things, is a new revolution of the Internet. Objects make themselves recognizable and they get intelligence thanks to the fact that they can communicate information about themselves and they can access information that has been aggregated by other things. Alarm clocks go off early if there’s traffic; plants communicate to the sprinkler system when it’s time for them to be watered; running shoes communicate time, speed and distance so that their wearers can compete in real time with people on the other side of the world; medicine containers tell your family members if you forget to take the medicine. All objects can get an active role thanks to their connection to the Internet.

(IoT) Internet of Things, The Ultimate GuideRR IT Zone
As the world becomes increasingly digital, the Internet of Things (IoT) has emerged as a transformative technology that connects devices and enables them to communicate with each other. Explore the vast potential of IoT technology and its impact on our daily lives.
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a term that refers to the coming together of physical gadgets, social media, and cloud computing. It enables a network of connected devices to collect and share data on a scale never before seen. The Internet of Things is transforming our cities, homes, and even our bodies. Machines can now share personal data such as eating habits, medication adherence, and energy consumption enabling us to live healthier lives.

7 technologies that will change our futurePioneer Lists
Advanced technologies for sure will change our future, but the thing is how we adopt those in our day to day life. Take a look on those emerging technologies.
What Can We Expect From Upcoming Developments In IoT.pdfTechugo
The ‘thing’ in IoT refers to any kind of device with built-in sensors, and it needs to have an ability to collect the data over a network. But that is not all, after the collection, the device is also expected to transfer the data over a particular network. That too without any kind of manual intervention.
This embedded technology helps the object to interact with all the internal and external states and environments, respectively. Every single information helps in building a strong foundation in the decision-making process.
If you are not familiar with the term Internet of Things and want to know about this new technology then this presentation is for you. You will find all the aspects of IoT, like IoT introduction, IoT applications and its challenges as well as future of Internet of Things, in this presentation.

Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message

As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

Internet of Things
1. By
Piyush Arora
B.Tech. - Third Year
Electronics and Communication Engineering
VIT University , Vellore
2.
3. It is a connection of various sensors , software and
electronics which will be controlled over the cloud .
It is similar to this analogy that just like our lives are
supposed to be controlled by GOD , similarly these
connected electronic devices will be controlled over a
cloud through internet.
4. I am very passionate about embedded systems and dedicated
many years creating various projects in this field .
I highly believe that internet of things is the future of
embedded systems .
Its basically like monitoring and controlling any embedded
system over an internet and the resulting system you got is
nothing but the internet of things.
I have started working in this field one year back and I am
amazed to imagine the various possibilities if one can add
internet to any embedded system project.
It is not wrong to say that IOT is the next step towards
approaching the concept of smart life.
5. According to a survey by the year 2020 , there will be like 26
billion units connected over the internet.
I highly believe that the IOT is the next big thing I can
imagine in the coming 5 years.
Till now we have already seen the popularity of smart phones
and tablets which clearly shows the interest of people
towards technology.
But its time now to go beyond these phones and IOT has no
such bounds.
Things like cars, shoes, kettles, books, teeth,..anything –
equipped with tiny internet-connected sensors and be a part
of IOT network.
6. If I will get this opportunity to work on IOT, I will definitely
want to work on the hardware part from setting up the
hardware , handling the sensor data and optimize the
hardware for IOT .
Since I have worked around various platforms in embedded
systems , I would certainly be more comfortable in dealing
with the hardware aspect of IOT which include designing the
circuit, programming these microcontrollers and working
with various protocols to play with sensor data.
I think IOT itself is a big project which has many domains
inside it and it will be a great opportunity for me to be a part
of it.
