Used for various operations:
 Oral cavity -palate surgery
 Oropharynx- Tonsillectomy, surgery of the
soft palate, pharyngoplasty.
 Nasopharynx- Adenoidectomy, excision
of angiofibroma.
Draffins Bipod and
Magauran’s Plate
Doyen mouth’s gag
Used to keep mouth open for intraoral
surgery when retraction of the tongue is
not required or desirable.
Mostly used for tongue surgery.
It is applied on one side of the mouth on
molar teeth.
