Denis Browne's tonsil holding forceps are used to hold and pull the tonsils during tonsillectomy. Thudicum nasal speculums are used in anterior rhinoscopy and nasal procedures to open the nasal cavity. Luc's forceps have sharp, cup-shaped blades and are useful for nasal and throat operations including submucous resection of the nasal septum.
