E-learning is defined as a learning process assisted by digital content, computers, and online tutoring technologies. There are two main types of e-learning: distance learning, which uses technology to deliver instruction to remote learners, and computer-assisted instruction, which uses computers to deliver standalone multimedia learning packages. Effective e-learning requires hardware availability, fast internet connectivity, improved software, policies supporting e-learning, technical support, affordable connectivity, reliable electricity, appropriate content in local languages, awareness of e-learning benefits, and teacher training in e-learning methods.
