Dr. Amin Esmail Khalil gave a presentation about his scientific work and insights for future research. He has a PhD in geophysics from Ain Shams University and is currently an Associate Professor of Geophysics at Helwan University. His scientific work includes using seismic methods like AVO analysis and ground motion simulation to study reservoirs in the Nile Delta and assess earthquake hazards. For future research, he proposes applying surface wave methods like HVSR and MASW to detect voids and explore archaeological sites, as well as using seismic hazard assessments and ground motion simulations to evaluate national strategic projects.
