In the last several years I have developed two main areas of focus: I am interested in the history of
scientific diagrams (including maps) as a combination of the history of visualization and theories of

Jane Austen was born in Hampshire, England to George and Cassandra Austen, on December 16,
1786.
Her parents had been married for many years and they had 6 kids before Jane was born.
In 1783, Jane and her sister Cassandra, were sent to boarding school called Mrs. Crawley s.
Jane arrived back home in 1786, that is when she was educated at home and was also sent to her aunt s
house to study more. This was the major time when she wrote all of her parodies and skits.
On January in 1805, Mr. Austen died unexpectedly which meant Jane had only to rely on her brothers
for food, money, and a home.
Austen did not marry, she had several suitors and once accepted a marriage proposal from Harris
Bigg, she though rejected his proposal. Jane Austen wrote many books including Sense and Sensibility
(1811), Pride and Prejudice (1813), Mansfield Park (1814), Emma (1815) and Northanger Abbey and
Persuasion (1818). Jane Austen died on July 18, 1817 in Winchester, United Kingdom. None of the
novels published gave Jane s name, until after she died. Jane was buried at Winchester Cathedral on

Robert Frost was deliberately concealing information from the audience because he came to the

Robert Frost s poem, Nothing Gold Can Stay does not show any signs of habits, dress, behavior,
speech, or a particular group of people.
Along the lines of fantasy versus reality, this is undoubtedly reality. He talks about childhood fading
away until we dont have our innocence anymore.
Bitter sweet is how Robert Frost expresses the tone of his poem. He is explaining how wonderful it is
when you hang onto your gold but, also narrates how difficult it is for it to stay. For the reader s mood
is sad, as they are sorry for mother nature and understand how innocent childhood was. Therefore the
mood is making the readers feel unhappy.
Youth and nature are both equal themes in this poem because if you take the poem literally it is

In the play, The Crucible, by Arthur Miller, there are some similarities and differences between Mr.
Hale and I. Mr. Hale is a Reverend from Beverly, who s called to Salem by Reverend Parris to help
wake his daughter, Betty, who fell ill after being caught in the woods summoning the devil. While
dealing with accusations of witchcraft, Mr. Hale acts a certain way which can define his character.
When he first arrives in Salem he remains hopeful. Towards the middle of the play he tries to help

On Monday, September 14, my partner and I set out to find someone that was Not our Type . When I
first heard about the assignment I was extremely nervous for what would lie ahead. I m not a very
talkative person and hardly ever just have random conversations with people that I don t know. I knew
that this assignment would certainly get me out of my comfort zone, and cause me to really branch
out. A huge part of talking to others about Christ is to just start up a simple conversation to work off
of. It can become even more difficult when someone has a different background or separate moral
values. I was by no means looking forward to the awkwardness that would possibly lie ahead, we
decided that the best place to start would be Walmart since people are there 24/7. We walked in at
around 9 p.m. and started our search. After about 20 minutes we finally decided to make our move on
someone. We walked up to a young man that looked to be in high school and began our conversation.
We started off by just introducing ourselves and telling him that we were working on an assignment
and just wanted to get to know him a little bit better. The conversation actually flowed really well and
we had a lot in common like our love for sports and technology. His name is Dilan Patel and he s a

When the story starts there is a talk between Ismene and the main character Antigone the sisters in the
play of Oedipus. While the two talk the audience learns the two have lost their Dad in war and both of
their brothers Polyneices and Eteocles to the hands of each other. The audience then finds out one of
the brothers, Polyneices, has been left out dead on a field without a respectful burial. When you hear

networks to facilitate applications. The scaled down censoring system presented below is an example
of those wireless sensor networks (WSN). In this system sensors are different between corridors area
and manufacturing area, since they need different precise level. Those sensors combined together by
different wireless AP and provide services to different applications inside and outside the plant. This is
where virtualization shines. Virtualization creates an uniformed environment in heterogeneous sensor
networks. It bridge the gap between infrastructure and applications. And the network and sensor
virtualization can achieved by the middleware. Middleware hide unnecessary details and complexity
of the underlying heterogeneous infrastructures, like different sensor nodes and different wireless AP
in the presented scenario. Software designs and programming approaches for the middleware design
should facilitate the balance between communication and computing. Energy awareness, routing,

human body. His position is best described as attributing the soul to a light bulb, and the brain to a
functioning socket:

Now there is the mortality of the soul, given that Swinburne s definition of the soul is similar to my
definition of the mind I will focus on that. I believe the human mind passes form body to soul upon
death. But what happens after that I do not know. I feel that our minds on this new plane of existence
cannot be understood as they are on this plane. Therefore I cannot comment on the possibility that
they are mortal or immortal. There might be some inherent change in how our minds work once this

complex things that we do not fully understand. Overall I tend to disagree with Swinburne on his ideas
of the mortality of the soul and the relationship of the soul and body. In my belief, that we cannot
definitively say the mind is mortal or immortal because it exists differently than the rest of our body.

In Jerusalem, Johnny Byron is portrayed as an evil entity, compared throughout the play to ogres,
dragons, wolves and an outsider on the fringes of society. This could be interpreted as Johnny being a
monster, a character from a fairy tale full of magic that lures in innocent children for their rites of
passage and possible downfall. However, this could be seen as an unfair interpretation of Byron due to
suggestions of other more positive beings like the magic of the Romany blood and a modern day Peter
