This document provides an introduction to a Business English Foundations II course. The course is aimed at students who have completed a previous level and will continue applying business communication skills through conversations and written texts. Lessons will cover communicative functions, socio-cultural context, and prior knowledge to strengthen language skills and consolidate linguistic competencies. Students will have access to resources like Market Leader CDs, Tell Me More online lessons, videos, and web sites. They will be expected to work individually and in groups using virtual tools like a virtual classroom, forums, chat sessions, and an e-portfolio. Guidelines will be provided for activities and technical support is available. The purpose of the course is to describe company colleagues, products, and profiles

2. Business English Foundations II
Through this second level, students continue applying the
general previous knowledge in conversations and written
texts in which they exchange information related to
business topics. In each lesson, different aspects are
studied: communicative forms and functions, sociocultural
context, review of prior knowledge, interaction
management, meaning in context, and their application is
used to strengthen language skills and systematically lead
them to the consolidation of their linguistic competencies
through autonomous learning activities.
