6. MAINTAINING THE MICRO-CLIMATE
Maintaining the microclimate inside the building by using of the
the following strategies in the semi-open courtyards
- Water Fountains
- Huge atriums
- By adding landscape to the courtyard
- Jali walls
- Massing the building and its Openings for better
ventilation

7. LANDSCAPING
Adding water fountains and the landscape inside
courtyard keeps the building cool and makes the warm
air cool.
Hot air rises up due to the STACK EFFECT.

8. NATURAL VENTILATION METHODS
Effective ventilation by orienting the building E-W and by optimum integration with nature by separating out
different blocks with connecting corridors and a huge central courtyard

9. USE OF JAALIS/PERFORATED
WALLS
The jali allows light and air while minimizing the sun and the
rain. By using jaalis on the corridors, minimizes hot air coming
inside the buildings from western side.
