The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is India's national space agency. Its primary objectives are to develop space technology and its applications to benefit India. ISRO was founded by Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, who established India's first space center. Key figures in ISRO's history include APJ Abdul Kalam, known as the "Missile Man of India" for his work developing ballistic missiles and launch vehicles. The current chairman of ISRO is K. Radhakrishnan, who has led the agency since 2009.

3. Objective of I.S.R.O
 The Indian Space Research Organisation is the primary space
agency of the Indian government. ISRO is amongst the six largest
government space agencies in the world, along with USA's
NASA, Russia's RKA, Europe's ESA, China's CNSA and Japan's JAXA. Its
primary objective is to advance space technology and use its
applications for national benefit.
 The main motto of indian space research organisation is Space
technology in the service of human kind.
 India's economic progress has made its space program more visible and
active as the country aims for greater self-reliance in space technology.

6. Abdul kalam for I.S.R.O
•Before his term as President, he worked as an
aerospace engineer with Defence Research and
Development Organisation(DRDO) and Indian
Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Kalam is
popularly known as the Missile Man of India for
his work on the development of ballistic missile
and launch vehicle technology
•Kalam a man with no authority over nuclear
physics but who just carried on the works of
Homi J. Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai.

7. THE CHAIRMAN OF I.S.R.O. 2013
K. Radhakrishnan (born 29 August 1949) is an Indian
scientist and the Chairman of Indian Space Research
Organisation (ISRO). He also served as the director of
Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC),
Thiruvananthapuram. He was born in Kerala, India).
Radhakrishnan took charge as the Chairman of the
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on 31
October 2009. He succeeds Dr. G. Madhavan Nair who
retired at the end of October, 2009
