Summary Of The Death Sentence In Criminal Cases
When looking over the criminal cases that we, as a class, have evaluated over the
past six weeks the one instance that I have found the most interesting is that of the
case of Corker v. Georgia, 433 U.S. 584, (1977),. The reason that I find this case
interesting is that it evaluates the use of the death sentence in the United States for
crimes that are not related to murder(Brody and Acker, 2010). I have always been
interested in cases involving the death sentence, and its effect on deterrence to
