As a teen, students should not be exposed to the inappropriateness that are put in books at such a
young age.There are several reasons that banned books should be kept out of the classrooms. A
few specifically are, racial issues, inappropriate language and sexual profanity. Some people

The U.S. government, in all its wisdom, treats hemp and marijuana in the same manner. Despite
one offering no psychoactive effects (hemp) and the other offering psychoactive effects
(marijuana), both are against the law. Several states have passed laws to allow the growing of
hemp; however the federal government has stood firm on the ban for decades, and continues to
do so. The time has come for the feds to update obsolete polices and get a dose of reality; it s time
to legalize industrial hemp.
Did you know Industrial hemp has been grown on American soil since the beginning of this great
nation? Did you also know that it s only been illegal for over 70 years now? So why now is this
amazing resourceful plant illegal? That s one question that still needs to be answered. In this
proposal I will introduce and explain why industrial hemp needs to be made legal to manufacture
and cultivate in the United States of America.

Arkadin, a company rapidly growing with the rising popularity of audio and web conferencing,
decided to implement an e learning program to facilitate standard training for their new employees.
Arkadin realized that learning is vital to an organization s ability to maintain intellectual capital and
that e learningwas the only way to ensure the uniformity of learningthroughout all offices. Arkadin
fits the profile of a company that would benefit from e learning because of their size. With
offices in 22 countries and over 500 employees, it would be extremely challenging to standardize
their training process because they are such a dispersed company. Their workforce also speaks

Classroom Observation In The Classroom
On September 13th, 2017 I observed Chef Holman at Murray Calloway County Area Tech
Center. I first met principal, Dan Hicks, he showed us the facility and gave us an overview of all
programs offered at the school. Before this observation I did not know that culinary was a program
offered at an area tech center. During my observationI used the domains of the Danielson
Framework for teaching observation. I also learned many new ideas and I plan to apply them to my
future classroom.
For this observation I specifically observed for domains 2c: Managing Classroom Procedures and
2e: Organizing Physical Space. For 2c: Managing Classroom Procedures, I looked for little
instructional time that was lost due to routines, procedures, transitions, and handling of supplies.
Chef Holman said to keep the students attention she tries to keep her lectures under 20 minutes
so she can quickly transition the students into the kitchen. Her transition was different than what
I would have done as the teacher. Once lecture was over she released them into the kitchen,
verses where I would have gone into the kitchen and demonstrated techniques to successfully
complete the recipe. When I am a teacher I plan to show my students how to properly prepare
food by using lecture time and hands on demonstration time. One way I found there was some
hands on instruction loss in her second block was when she did not thoroughly explain the recipe.
The students had to come ask her questions and stop their progress in the kitchen. I liked the
suggestion Chef Holman made regarding designating certain days of the week to cooking and
others to lecture. This allows the students to get used to a routine and optimize their time spent in
the classroom so no instruction time is lost. I also liked Chef Holman s teaching strategy of
teaching the basics first. In my classroom when I am a teacher I want to start out with the very
basics because every student comes from a different back ground, you don t know what they have
or have not learned at home. I learned that you do not assume students know how to do something.
You need to explain everything step by step so students fully understand what is expected of them.

Marshall Manson is the managing director of social media, and he gave a great presentation to us
for the business visit at Ogilvy. His background is extensive and quite impressive. The social

they did not do, whether it would be taking the last cookie out of the jar, picking their nose, or
even something to the extremity of taking someone s life. A tragic, real life example of this is
when Michael Morton got sentenced to life in prison when he was falsely accused of murdering
his wife. Twenty five years later, he was eventually exonerated from prison by the use of DNA
evidence. In Arthur Miller s The Crucible, while the witch trials were underway, situations like
this were common occurrences. The play which took place in Salem, Massachusetts, was
centered around many innocent people getting framed for witchcraft by licentious people who
wanted to place blame on them due to jealousy or hatred for the sole purpose of revenge. The
rumors quickly spreading through the town caused hysteria, defined by people behaving in an
uncontrolled way due to fear or anger, eventually leading to nineteen righteous people being
