“Advertising is a form of marketing
communication used to persuade an audience to
take or continue some action, usually with
respect to a commercial offering, or political
or ideological support”
• The word advertising come from Latin word “ad vertere” means “to turn
toward”
• According to the American Marketing Association, Chicago, "Advertising is
any paid form of non-personal presentation of ideas, goods and services by an
identified sponsor."
