government to people living within its jurisdiction, either
directly (through the public sector)
Or by financing provision of service.
A service is helping others with a specific need or want.

It only fulfills the needs of an individual or a group
without jurisdiction.
Why we need public
service delivery?

For the purpose to make a wealth-environment.
Partially people live below the poverty line.
It is playing the role of public system management.
Mostly in Indians live in rural areas.
55% of people mostly open defecate for want of toilets.
Improve the quality of service providing.
To reduce the corruption.
Increase the GDP.
Reduce the poverty and increase the standard of living.
To make a free money accessibility through technology.

siphoned off before it reaches the intended beneficiaries).
Lack of awareness among citizens about their rights.

Digital Divide i.e. unequal access to communications
technologies hinder uniform public service delivery.

Red tape that necessitates excessive paperwork and tedious
procedures before official action further weakens the reform
initiatives.
AFFECTING
GOVERNMENT REFORMS
Right to information act - 2005,
RTI, 2005 marked a significant shift in India democracy.
Besides providing legal access to the information to
citizens it also improved the responsiveness of the
government to community needs. It promotes openness,
transparency and accountability in administration by
making the government more open to public scrutiny.
But some of people have lack of accessor, and lack of
awareness. This service for the delivering good
governance to public.
CITIZEN’S CHARTER (CC)
Citizen’s Charter is a document which represents a
systematic effort to focus on the commitment of the
Organization towards its citizens in respects of standard
of services, information, choice and consultation, non-
discrimination and accessibility, grievance redress,
courtesy and value for money.
E-GOVERNANCE
To make all government services accessible to the
common man in his locality, through common service
delivery outlets and ensure efficiency, transparency and
reliability of such services at affordable costs, the
National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) has been initiated
by the Government of India.
But in rural area people are not access the e-governance
so that corruption does not reduce to increase only red
tapism concept.

  • 3. PUBLIC SERVICE DELIVERY o o o Public service is a service which is provided by the government to people living within its jurisdiction, either directly (through the public sector) Or by financing provision of service. A service is helping others with a specific need or want.
  • 4. PRIVATE SERVICE DELIVERY ■ ■ ■ It focuses on business-oriented. It is a for-profit mind service. It only fulfills the needs of an individual or a group without jurisdiction.
  • 5. Why we need public service delivery?           For the purpose to make a wealth-environment. Partially people live below the poverty line. It is playing the role of public system management. Mostly in Indians live in rural areas. 55% of people mostly open defecate for want of toilets. Improve the quality of service providing. To reduce the corruption. Increase the GDP. Reduce the poverty and increase the standard of living. To make a free money accessibility through technology.

Infrastructure – Roads, Railways, Airports, Telecommunications, Electricity, Water. Environment Protection, Waste Management, Sanitation (includes Toilets). Law enforcement, Fire service, Public transportation, Postal Services Security Helpline no., Digital service, Education free, PDS, Cattle distribution.

It promotes openness, transparency and accountability in administration by making the government more open to public scrutiny. But some of people have lack of accessor, and lack of awareness. E-GOVERNANCE To make all government services accessible to the common man in his locality, through common service delivery outlets and ensure efficiency, transparency and reliability of such services at affordable costs, the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) has been initiated by the Government of India. But in rural area people are not access the e-governance so that corruption does not reduce to increase only red tapism concept.
