The document discusses strategies for teaching Korean language and culture to students. The teacher aims to create an environment where students feel comfortable using the language authentically. Some strategies discussed are increasing elaborated input by giving simple instructions in Korean, singing songs, and having students recognize words without translation. The teacher also prepares fun activities like arts and crafts, games, and stories to make learning enjoyable. Examples provided include making origami and playing counting games. The next steps mentioned are gathering more evidence of learning, sharing experiences with other teachers, and focusing more on pronunciation, writing, and creating authentic situations for language use.

- Students love doing arts & craft, games or listening to Korean
traditional stories however the lessons may end up with a lot of
mess & loud noises
- Sometimes, it is a bit burden for me to prepare good activities for
each lesson.
- Students had fun playing the game and wanted to come up and play
with me in front of the class even though they were not sure about
counting in Korean. This shows that they are not afraid of making
mistakes and know that they are in a safe learning environment.
