Generally the prediction of behaviour of material at high temperature is very difficult. During design of
components which are subjected to or working at high temperature must consider the testing at elevated
temperature. Hot tensile testing (HTT) is the method of tensile testing of material at elevated temperature. The
materials used for automotive or aerospace applications are mostly subject to cyclic loading, high temperature
and sometimes involve high frequency vibrations. High strength aluminium alloys are one class of materials that
are widely used in the automotive and aerospace industries .In this work I test A413 material for HTT at different
temperature and strain rate, which can be used for piston.

To find effects of GMAW parameters on Mechanical Properties of Aluminum AlloysIJERA Editor
The present research aims to investigate the effects of Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) on the mechanical
properties of different grades of aluminum alloys. GMAW is the most common method of joining aluminum
alloys used in various industrial processes. It replaces the Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) method of providing equally
high quality of joints with a much higher performance. Aluminum alloys under consideration for this
experiment will be from 6XXX series, consisting of Silicon and Magnesium as main alloying elements. Weld
joints Will be produced with the help of a Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) process. The Hardness, Tensile
strength, yield stresses and elongation will be the mechanical properties to be obtained. As aluminum alloys
show large micro structural changes after welding it is necessary to know about the effect of welding parameters
on the mechanical properties of weldements as too high welding current and too high welding speed will result
in high heat input and weakening of weld profile so a balance is need to be struck between welding parameters
and mechanical properties. Scattering Electron Microscopy (SEM) technique will be used to analyze micro

More often than not, welded joints experience failure such as fracture which jeopardize their reliability and ergonomics when put in perspective. Attempting a significant improvement in the mechanical properties of welded joint through heat treatment could ensure joints stability and reduce the costs associated with constant repairs and replacements. In this study, the effects of heat treatments (austempering and normalization) on the mechanical properties of weldments were examined. The locally recycled steel sample was sourced from the Delta Steel Company Aladja, Delta State and the spectro-analysis was carried out on it. The test samples were machined as per properties for tests, fractured locally and were welded using shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) with stainless steel electrode. They were then heat treated in electric furnaces. The mechanical properties (tensile strength, yield strength, hardness and impact toughness) were determined and the microstructure examined using scanning electron microscope. They were also examined physically using hand lens. The result indicated that the austempered samples improved significantly in terms of its tensile strength, yield strength, hardness and ductility. It was also found that the untreated sample produced the greatest impact toughness. The result of the physical examination also suggested that heat treatment using oil based quenchant have the potential to inhibit rust at weld joints.

Present work investigates the effect of heat input (controlled by welding current, welding voltage and welding speed) on tensile strength,micro-hardness and microstructure elements produced by shielded metal arc welding (SMAW). From the experimental res ults it was found that the increase in heat input affects the micro-constituents of base metal, and h eat affected zone (HAZ). Tensile strength decreases with increase in heat input and from scanning elect ron microscopy of tensile test fractured surfaces exhibited ductile & brittle failure. From micro har dness data values it was observed that hardness of material increases with increase in heat input in w eld pool and decreases in HAZ zone. Optical microscopy shows that smaller dendrite sizes and le sser inter-dendritic spacing were observed in the fusion zone at low heat input. And long dendrite si zes and large inter-dendritic spacing were observed in the fusion zone of the joint welded at high heat in put. Further it was observed from the optical micrographs that the extent of grain coarsening in the HAZ increases with increase in heat input. The welding heat input has a great influence on the wel dments properties. Effect of chromium powder mixed dielectric on performance characteristic of a...eSAT Journals
Abstract
In this paper, the effect of chromium powder mixed dielectric fluid on machining characteristics of AISI D2 die steel has been studied. Peak current, pulse on time, pulse off time, concentration of powder are the process parameters. The process performance is measured in terms of material removal rate (MRR), tool wear rate (TWR) and surface roughness (SR). The research outcome will identify the important process parameters that maximize MRR, minimize TWR and SR. The design of experiment has been undertaken using Taguchi method. ANOVA analysis has been used to investigate the percentage contribution of each process parameter for optimizing the performance. The study indicates that all the selected parameters except pulse off time have a significant effect on MRR. Current is found to be the most significant factor for MRR and TWR. With increase in current, TWR increases. Also, surface roughness increases with increase in pulse off time.

Effect of configuration on lateral displacement and cost of the structure for...eSAT Journals
Abstract
The choice of a cost effective lateral-force-resisting system for high-rise structures is challenging. There is no streamlined methodology to quantitatively compare the cost-effectiveness of each system beyond the more qualitative perception based evaluation of advantages or disadvantages. Developers currently base their decisions on architectural layout and structural integrity. Cost considerations are often primarily based on experience.
This decision making process has three primary shortfalls.
1) It may not incorporate factors which greatly affect the economy of a particular framing system.
2) It may not allow engineers to carryout designs at the least cost.
3) Comparison of framing systems may not address the specific building types.
This investigation proposes a prototype cost-effective model for selecting either a skeleton framing system or skeleton frame with bracing system for steel structural frames. A model for selecting cost-effective skeleton framing system or skeleton frame with bracing system will be a valuable tool for all decision makers. Engineers, in particular, will be able to select optimal steel framing faster, thus reducing design time and iterations. Furthermore, selection of economic framing system will also result in direct cost savings for steel structural frames.
The study involves the design and cost estimation of steel frames representing skeleton framing system and skeleton frame with bracingsystem. The cost effectiveness of the framing systems are compared based on lateral displacement requirements and cost. The preferred framing system should meet lateral displacement requirements and is lower in cost. The results of this pilot study showed that the Skelton framing system with bracing is the cost-effective choice for 30storeys steel space frames at wind speeds of 55m/sec, 50m/sec and 47m/sec.

Influence of Heat Treatment on Mechanical Properties of Aisi1040 SteelIOSR Journals
This investigation is concerned to evaluate the influence of heat treatment on mechanical behavior of AISI1040 steel; it is one of the grades of medium carbon steel of American standard containing 0.40% carbon in its composition. Specimen of quenched/hardened AISI1040 steel was tempered at temperature (650,450&250℃) for 60, 90&120 minutes to modify desired properties. The mechanical behavior, particularly, ultimate tensile strength, yield strength and elongation were investigated using universal testing machine; while the hardness measurement was done on Rockwell hardness testing machine of heat treated specimens. Result shows that the ultimate tensile strength and the yield strength decrease while the elongation increases with an increase in tempering temperature and tempering time of different tempered specimen. The hardness of quenched/hardened specimen decreases with an increase in tempering temperature and tempering time. Furthermore, increasing temperature and lowering time produces approximately same result as decreasing temperature and increasing time.

As a starting point and connecting tissue, we use a process-oriented approach (BPM) for managing companies and then apply sustainability dimensions (economic, ecologic, and social) to it. Using this approach we do not change existing or already established management systems of companies, but we adapt it by modifying company vision, strategy and most importantly, management and core processes.
Integrating sustainability related processes into organization management system prevents “fire-fighting” and ad-hoc activities, which are performed by companies to comply with the increasing number of sustainability related standards.
In addition, we present two managerial trainings (business process management and sustainability management), which when combined, will enable managers to adapt to today’s highly competitive business environment.
The concept presented here is a novel approach under the ECQA (European Certification and Qualification Organization), which will allow on-demand clustering of managerial skills and trainings (BPM and sustainability management).
The results presented are particularly useful for process analysts, quality managers, sustainability managers, social responsibility managers and similar professional profiles in order to improve their companies’ activities and processes with respect to the sustainable development values.
A cyborg (short for "cybernetic organism") is a being with both organic and biomechatronic parts. The term cyborg is not the same thing as bionic, biorobot or android and applies to an organism that has restored function or enhanced abilities due to the integration of some artificial component or technology that relies on some sort of feedback. While cyborgs are commonly thought of as mammals, they might also conceivably be any kind of organism and the term "Cybernetic organism" has been applied to networks, such as road systems, corporations and governments, which have been classed as such. The term can also apply to micro-organisms which are modified to perform at higher levels than their unmodified counterparts. It is hypothesized that cyborg technology will form a part of the future human evolution.
Wear characteristics of pure aluminium, al alloy & al-alumina metal mtrix...eSAT Journals
Abstract In this report, an aluminium metal matrix was reinforced with 1.5 wt. % of Al2O3 nano particles using non-contact cavitation method to prepare the metal matrix nano composite. Microstructural examination conducted on the sample revealed a uniform distribution of alumina particulates. Sliding wear behavior of the as-cast MMNC was studied in dry condition, under different test conditions by varying the load and the sliding velocity, with an unlubricated Multiple Tribo Tester. It was found that sliding wear resistance improved considerably with the addition of alumina nano particles. Microscopic examinations of the worn out surfaces of pure Al, Al-alloy (duralumin) and MMNC reveal that the MMNC has greater resistance to sliding wear compared to pure aluminium and duralumin. Wear increases with increase in load and sliding velocity. Delamination and abrasion are the dominating types of wear observed. Keywords: Sliding Wear, Al2O3, MMNC, Duralumin, Delamination and Abrasion.

Experimental Analysis of Mechanical Properties on AA 6060 and 6061 Aluminum A...IJERA Editor
Due to the substantial increased in demands of aluminum in industries like automotive industry and building industry, it is required for improvement of its mechanical properties by addition of suitable alloying elements to aluminum. The objective of this research is to study the effect of various alloys addition to aluminum and their effects on tensile strength, hardness and microstructure. The mechanical properties of AA 6060 and AA 6061 aluminum alloy have been characterized in terms of tensile strength and hardness. The result has been used to determine the tensile strength and % elongation of the specimen. From the results, it has been observed that mechanical properties of Al-alloys increasing up to 0.65% of Mg addition due to grain refinement, where as increase in Mg contents beyond 0.71% mechanical properties starts decreasing. The microstructure of the fracture surface after tensile strength has been examined using inverted microscope.

Effect of Heat Treatment on Corrosion Behavior of Spring SteelsEditor IJCATR
The experimental work deals with the effect of heat treatment on the corrosion behaviour of spring steels. In this study the
heat treatments like hardening, normalizing and tempering were done for spring steels to obtain martensitic matrix, pearlitic structure
and tempered martensitic matrix respectively. After heat treatment the microstructural studies were carried out for the samples using
SEM. Hardness measurements were done. The corrosion behaviour of all heat treated samples in HCl at different concentration (1.5N,
2N and 2.5N) was determined using Tafel extrapolation technique. The variation in the corrosion rates due to the effect of heat
treatment was noted. The results indicate that for fully martensitic matrix the corrosion rate is minimum and for pearlitic structure its
maximum. As tempering time is increased the corrosion rate increases correspondingly. The corroded microstructural images were
also taken using SEM and analysed.
MECHANICAL PROPERTY ASSESSMENT OF AUSTEMPERED AND CONVENTIONALLY HARDENED AIS...IAEME Publication
The chemical composition and mechanical properties of steel decide its applicability for manufacturing various components in different areas of engineering interests. Heat treatment processes are commonly used to enhance the required properties of steel with or without change in chemical composition. The present work aims to perform conventional hardening and Austempering treatment with experimental investigation of the effect of austempering and conventional hardening (quenching) on AISI 4340 steel. Different tests like tensile, torsion, hardness, impact and microstructure analysis are carried out in as bought and heat treated conditions
Study on Influence of heat treatment on Tribological properties of mild steeldbpublications
A study was made on the effect of heat treatment upon the mild steel. Total six samples were prepared for each test (hardness test, tensile test, microstructure test and wear test) from those two was tested as received and rest four were subjected to different heat treatment that are annealing and normalizing (heated on a temperature of 850 degree Celsius). The hardness of all sample was measured by Rockwell hardness testing machine. Wear measurement was done on pin-on disc wear machine. Tensometer was used to find out the ultimate stress and strain of the sample. The result of tensile test showed that the strength is decreased by heat treating and the surface hardness is also decreased by heat treatment. Microstructure of the mild steel specimens shows the grain boundary of the particles and the content of % of carbon present. It justifies the experimental results of tensile test and hardness test. Surface Hardness is the measure of resistance that any material applies. As the specimen gets soft on treating the hardness also gets decreased. Tensile strength of any specimen is specified as how much stress the material can withstand before breaking. As the metal gets soft after heat treatment the load required for breaking goes on decreasing. Wear test is carried out to see the variation in wear measurement and coefficient of friction as the mesh size of paper are varied. More soft the surface of material is more wear is seen and vice-versa.
International Journal of Computational Engineering Research (IJCER) is dedicated to protecting personal information and will make every reasonable effort to handle collected information appropriately. All information collected, as well as related requests, will be handled as carefully and efficiently as possible in accordance with IJCER standards for integrity and objectivity.
Experimental Investigation of Tensile Strength and Deflection Characteristics...IOSR Journals
Aluminum alloys are used in many applications in which the combination of high strength and low
weight is attractive; ship building, air frame, transportation industry etc. are some areas in which the low
weight can be significant value. Friction stir welding (FSW) is a new welding technique particularly well suited
to aluminum alloys though this technique is also used for other materials. Friction stir welding promises joints
with low porosity, fine microstructures, minimum phase transformation and low oxidation compared to
conventional welding techniques. It is capable of joining combinations of alloys not amenable to conventional
welding.Experiments for tensile and deflection tests were carried out and reported in this research paper. The
base material used for friction stir welding was AA 6351–T4 Aluminum alloy. Tensile strength and breaking
loads were increased with increase of rotational speed of the tool but it drops after attaining marginal speed.
Deflections of friction stir welded specimens and base materials were compared and they exhibited almost
similar trends at different load conditions and deflections of all the specimens were increased with increment of
load

These days we have an increased number of heart diseases including increased risk of heart attacks. Our proposed system users sensors that allow to detect heart rate of a person using heartbeat sensing even if the person is at home. The sensor is then interfaced to a microcontroller that allows checking heart rate readings and transmitting them over internet. The user may set the high as well as low levels of heart beat limit. After setting these limits, the system starts monitoring and as soon as patient heart beat goes above a certain limit, the system sends an alert to the controller which then transmits this over the internet and alerts the doctors as well as concerned users. Also the system alerts for lower heartbeats. Whenever the user logs on for monitoring, the system also displays the live heart rate of the patient. Thus concerned ones may monitor heart rate as well get an alert of heart attack to the patient immediately from anywhere and the person can be saved on time. This value will continue to grow if no proper solution is found. Internet of Things (IoT) technology developments allows humans to control a variety of high-tech equipment in our daily lives. One of these is the ease of checking health using gadgets, either a phone, tablet or laptop. we mainly focused on the safety measures for both driver and vehicle by using three types of sensors: Heartbeat sensor, Traffic light sensor and Level sensor. Heartbeat sensor is used to monitor heartbeat rate of the driver constantly and prevents from the accidents by controlling through IOT.
ABSTRACT The success of the cloud computing paradigm is due to its on-demand, self-service, and pay-by-use nature. Public key encryption with keyword search applies only to the certain circumstances that keyword cipher text can only be retrieved by a specific user and only supports single-keyword matching. In the existing searchable encryption schemes, either the communication mode is one-to-one, or only single-keyword search is supported. This paper proposes a searchable encryption that is based on attributes and supports multi-keyword search. Searchable encryption is a primitive, which not only protects data privacy of data owners but also enables data users to search over the encrypted data. Most existing searchable encryption schemes are in the single-user setting. There are only few schemes in the multiple data users setting, i.e., encrypted data sharing. Among these schemes, most of the early techniques depend on a trusted third party with interactive search protocols or need cumbersome key management. To remedy the defects, the most recent approaches borrow ideas from attribute-based encryption to enable attribute-based keyword search (ABKS
Cloud computing is the one of the emerging techniques to process the big data. Large collection of set or large
volume of data is known as big data. Processing of big data (MRI images and DICOM images) normally takes
more time compare with other data. The main tasks such as handling big data can be solved by using the concepts
of hadoop. Enhancing the hadoop concept it will help the user to process the large set of images or data. The
Advanced Hadoop Distributed File System (AHDF) and MapReduce are the two default main functions which
are used to enhance hadoop. HDF method is a hadoop file storing system, which is used for storing and retrieving
the data. MapReduce is the combinations of two functions namely maps and reduce. Map is the process of
splitting the inputs and reduce is the process of integrating the output of map’s input. Recently, in medical fields
the experienced problems like machine failure and fault tolerance while processing the result for the scanned
data. A unique optimized time scheduling algorithm, called Advanced Dynamic Handover Reduce Function
(ADHRF) algorithm is introduced in the reduce function. Enhancement of hadoop and cloud introduction of
ADHRF helps to overcome the processing risks, to get optimized result with less waiting time and reduction in
error percentage of the output image

Colorectal cancer (CRC) has potential to spread within the peritoneal cavity, and this transcoelomic
dissemination is termed “peritoneal metastases” (PM).The aim of this article was to summarise the current
evidence regarding CRC patients at high risk of PM. Colorectal cancer is the second most common cause of cancer
death in the UK. Prompt investigation of suspicious symptoms is important, but there is increasing evidence that
screening for the disease can produce significant reductions in mortality.High quality surgery is of paramount
importance in achieving good outcomes, particularly in rectal cancer, but adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy
have important parts to play. The treatment of advanced disease is still essentially palliative, although surgery for
limited hepatic metastases may be curative in a small proportion of patients.
Heat transfer in pipes is a distinctive kind of procedure employed in heat exchanger which transfers great
deal of heat because of the impact of capillary action and phase change heat transfer principle. Late improvement
in the heat pipe incorporates high thermal conductivity liquids like Nano liquids, fixed inside to extricate the most
extreme heat. This paper audits, impact of different factors, for example, thermal pipe tilt edge, charged measure
of working liquid, nano particles sort, size, and mass/volume part and its impact on the change of thermal
proficiency, thermal exchange limit and decrease in thermal protection. The Nano liquid arrangement and the
examination of its thermal attributes likewise have been investigated. The retained sun oriented vitality is
exchanged to the working liquid streaming in the pipe. The execution of the framework is affected by thermal
exchange from tube to working liquid, with least convective misfortunes, which must be considered as one of the
essential plan factor. In tube and channel streams, to improve the rate of heat exchange to the working liquid,

CFD Simulation of By-pass Flow in a HRSG module by R&R Consult.pptxR&R Consult
CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. Do your systems also need a check-up or optimization? Give us a call!

I. INTRODUCTION
Tensile tests are performed for several reasons. The
results of tensile tests are used in selecting materials for
engineering applications. Tensile properties are
frequently included in material specifications to ensure
quality. Tensile properties often are measured during
development of new materials and processes, so that
different materials and processes can be compared.
Finally, tensile properties often are used to predict the
behaviour of a material under forms of loading other
than uni-axial tension. The strength of a material often is
the primary concern. The strength of interest may be
measured in terms of either the stress necessary to cause
appreciable plastic deformation or the maximum stress
that the material can withstand. These measures of
strength are used, with appropriate caution (in the form
of safety factors), in engineering design. Also of interest
is the material’s ductility, which is a measure of how
much it can be deformed before it fractures. Rarely is
ductility incorporated directly in design rather, it is
included in material specifications to ensure quality and
toughness. Low ductility in a tensile test often is
accompanied by low resistance to fracture under other
forms of loading. Elastic properties also may be of
interest, but special techniques must be used to measure
these properties during tensile testing, and more accurate
measurements can be made by ultrasonic techniques.[1]

aluminium piston alloys. In this research, thermo-cycle
fatigue tests were performed on aluminium piston alloys
ACA8, SC100 and A2618-T6 at elevated temperatures
up to 400 ºC (673 K). The aluminium piston Al 11wt%
Si alloys SC100, ACA8, A4032 were tested together
with A2618-T6 concerning their mechanical properties
and their thermal fatigue behaviour. The alloy A2618
shows a better elongation to failure and higher yield
stress compared to the other alloys by maintaining the
low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE). Alloy
A2618-T6 has much longer thermal fatigue life times for
maximum temperatures below 600K as compared to the
two other alloys, only above 600 K the alloy ACA8 has
a slightly longer life time, but the failure occurs

Abstract:
Generally the prediction of behaviour of material at high temperature is very difficult. During design of
components which are subjected to or working at high temperature must consider the testing at elevated
temperature. Hot tensile testing (HTT) is the method of tensile testing of material at elevated temperature. The
materials used for automotive or aerospace applications are mostly subject to cyclic loading, high temperature
and sometimes involve high frequency vibrations. High strength aluminium alloys are one class of materials that
are widely used in the automotive and aerospace industries .In this work I test A413 material for HTT at different
temperature and strain rate, which can be used for piston.

properties and fracture analysis of these materials were
investigated at room temperature and at high
temperature to determine their ultimate strength and
strain to failure. The fracture surface was analyzed by
scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
Amro M. et al [2006] investigated the High
Temperature Tensile Response of Al 6061 Reinforced
with Submicron Alumina Composite. Tensile tests of the
composite were conducted at temperatures ranging from
room temperature to 300 °C. Tensile strength of the
composite decreases linearly with increasing
temperature. The composite was able to retain over 35%
of room temperature strength when tested at 300°C.
Strain to fracture increases with temperature up to
250 °C.
AnirudhBiswas et al [2012] investigated that
Aluminium-Silicon alloys are sought in a large number
of automotive and aerospace applications due to their
low coefficient of thermal expansion and high wear
resistance. The present study focused on Mechanical
properties of the silicon based aluminium alloys. This
study aimed to investigate solidification and mechanical
behaviour of Al- Si alloy against both the moulding
conditions and silicon content (15%- 24% Si). Grain size
analysis of mechanical properties and non destructive
test of the alloys have been studied. The results showed
that with the increasing of silicon content, the
solidification time increased and also decrease of the
liquids temperature was observed up to 12% and then
increased with increasing Si%. However, an increase of
both the ultimate tensile strength and the hardness is
obtained by the increase of the silicon content. With the
increase of silicon content the wear rate decrease and
coefficient of friction increase.
W. Ozgowicz, et al [2008] the purpose of this paper is
to determine the influence of temperature (100ºC-700°C)
of plastic deformation on the structure and mechanical
properties of copper alloy of the type CuCr1Zr during a
tensile test. Copper alloys CuCr1Zr stretched statically
at a rate of deformation 1.2× 10-3
s-1
show distinct
minimum of plastic properties in a narrow range of
deformation temperature about 550ºC - 600°C. The
examined copper alloys showed after the tensile test in
the temperature range 20ºC- 500°C transcrystalline
ductile fracture. At 600°C, in the investigated alloy it is
observed that brittle crystalline fracture with small areas
of plastic deformation according to the minimum
growths of the elongation and narrowing.

This test was perform as per ASME E-21:2009 using
gauge diameter in the range 9.8 mm to 10 mm,
gauge length 50 mm and overall length of specimen is
120mm. for this test, temperature of this specimen is
maintain
at 1500
C, 2500
C, and 350 0
C throughout the test. For this
test, strain rate on specimen is maintained at 0.05 per
min, 0.1 per min.

Fig.: 3: Tensile Strength Vs Strain rate
V. RESULTS
1. From fig. 2, at constant strain rate of 0.05 per min, the
tensile strength of aluminium material is decreases
continuously from 123.842 N/mm2
to 53.37 N/mm2
. But
for higher strain rate of 0.1 per min the tensile strength
initially increases from 119.27 N/mm2
to 125.34 N/mm2
as temperature increases from 150 °C to 250 °C. Tensile
strength decreases to 66.48 N/mm2
for further increase
in temperature from 250 °C to 350 °C. Generally, the
true stress–true strain curve is always used to analyse the
plastic deformation behaviours of materials. Obviously,
the flow stresses are strongly dependent on the
deformation temperature and strain rate. Also, the effects
of deformation parameters on the peak stress. Increasing
the deformation temperature or decreasing the strain rate
can result in the decrease of peak stress. This is because
the low strain rate provides long time for energy
accumulation and high deformation temperature
enhances the thermal activation process of the alloy,
which accelerates the dislocation motion and
annihilation, and thus the dynamic softening is enhanced
and the peak stress are reduced.
2. From fig. 3, (a) At temperature of 150 0
C, as strain
rate increases from 0.05 per min to 0.1 per min, the
tensile strength decreases from 123.84 N/mm2
to 119.27
N/mm2
.
(b) But at temperature 250 0
C, as strain rate increases
from 0.05 per min to 0.1 per min, tensile strength of
aluminium material increases from 118.91 N/mm2 to
125.34 N/mm2
.
(c) At 350 0
C also, as the strain rate increases from 0.05
per min to 0.1 per min tensile strength of material is
increases from 53.45 N/mm2
to 66.48 N/mm2
. So it is
concluded that as strain rate increases, tensile strength
will also increases.
3. Comparison with other material: Piston is also
subjected to fatigue stresses during working, so material
must have good fatigue strength. From above
comparison we can observe that proposed material had
more fatigue strength & melting point. We can replace
A4032 alloy by A413 material for better working of
piston. In present work, tensile property of material
A413 is tested by hot tensile test (HTT) at 350 0
C; 0.05
per min is compared with FEA result of material A4032
at 357 0
C studied by S. Bhattacharya et al. It is also
observe that, for nearly same temperature range tensile
property of A413 at 350 0
C is 53.37 MPa, while for
material A4032 at 357 0
C is 21.4 MPa. So we conclude
that tensile property of A413 at 350 0
C is much higher
than A4032 at 357 0
C. Hence, new material A413 is best
replacement for A4032 under same temperature range.

VI.CONCLUSIONS:
1. From the test results we can conclude that as
temperature increase the tensile strength decreases
2.In case of strain rate, as strain rate increases, the
tensile strength is also increases.
3. In present work, tensile property of material A413 is
tested by hot tensile test (HTT) at 350 0
C; 0.05 per min
is compared with FEA result of material A4032 at 357
0
C studied by S. Bhattacharya et al. It is also observe
that, for nearly same temperature range tensile property
of A413 at 350 0
C is 53.37 MPa, while for material
A4032 at 357 0
C is 21.4 MPa. So we conclude that
tensile property of A413 at 350 0
C is much higher than
A4032 at 357 0
C. Hence, new material A413 is best
replacement for A4032 under same temperature range.
