Tourism Vending Machine
Tourism British Columbia

In what might be seen as the ultimate vending
machine, Tourism British Columbia placed a giant, 14-
foot tall, 10-foot wide vending machine, in Justin
Herman Plaza in San Francisco for a few days, opening
the locals up to a whole new world of British Columbia
holiday experiences, in the form of vending machine
gifts, both big and small.

A lovely way to promote a tourist destination, by
showing people all the things that can be done there!
Ray-Ban
Bright Light App

To show that Ray Ban is a brand that cares about their
customers they introduced “Bright Light”, an application
that helps customers to get the most out of the sun and
their sunglasses during spring.

This app helps customers get back outside to hang out
in the sun by showing where and when to find sunspots
in their cities.
The little guy inside the ATM
BBVA Foundation

A smart creative idea from Peru to get people’s attention
on a problem that affects seven out of ten children in
the country: illiteracy. A man was placed inside an ATM
machine to deliver the message in one of the moments
when people is simply forced to read what’s on the
screen. At the same time they also made it possible to
make an immediate donation to the BBVA Foundation’s
Reading is Being program.

Quite invasive but an innovative idea!
UK National Lottery
Life Changing campaign

As part of the National Lottery – Life Changing campaign
BBDO launched an ad campaign demonstrating to
viewers that the 1 in 10 million chance to win half a
million pounds is money well spent, as money is also
used to fund things other than the basic functions of
state government.

So this ad shows a true story of the Olympian Jenny
Meadows and her mother Barbara who always wanted to
be a runner, and now her daughter Jenny, who shares
the same dream, is representing her country in London
2012 with the sponsorship of the National Lottery.
Smart Drop Project
Evian

Evian Smart Drop, an innovative Wi-Fi fridge magnet in
the shape of a drop of water. In a fun and simple way
the Evian Smart Drop allows users to order natural
mineral water, for delivery to their doorstep, without
even using a computer or phone.

The idea is to simplify peoples lives by making it possible
to order bottled water the moment they realise they’re
running out, when they’re in front of your fridge. No
more carrying of heavy bottles from the shop.

A lovely example of creating a new product that helps
enhance the brand experience.
