How Did Harry Potter Fear Death Eaters
Harry Potter Harry fears death eaters because they can pretty much kill him. Harry was often
scared of Voldemort. The reason he was scared is because when he was little,Voldemort killed
his parents and now Voldemort is after him. He was often worried that Voldemort was trying to
find him and trying to find way to finish Harry off by killing him. Harry often is worried about
other people s lives. When Sirius Black s life was threatened by Voldemort telling him that he
will be at the Ministry and Voldemort was going to kill him he had to find out what was going on
so he went to the Ministry without permission by the teachers. Harry is also scared about always
being number one and defeating Voldemort because all the pressure is on Harry to defeat

Fiesta 1980” and “Daddy” Essay
Fiesta 1980 and Daddy Both poems are about memories of the relationship with their father.
However, the experiences are very different. The children presented in Fiesta 1980 by Junot Diaz
and Daddy by Silvia Plath suffers an internal struggle because of their fathers. In Fiesta 1980 there
is a chance to improve the relationship where as in Daddythere is no hope because the father is
dead. In Fiesta 1980 we can tell the story is told in the first person by and adolescent Latino boy.
The story is mainly about the struggles of an immigrant familyas they wake up from a nightmare in
Santo Domingo only to find themselves in another nightmare, except this time it s in America.

When the father takes Yunior on short trips in the van, so Yunior can practice not vomiting,
Yunior enjoys the time alone with his dad and feel loved. It is interesting how Junior only
experiences carsickness in the lime green van his father drives. He notes that he never had
trouble with cars before that van was like my curse . I can assume that since Junior first met his
father s mistress during a trip in the van, which leads me to believe that Yunior associates the
vehicle with the crushing emotional distress of learning of his father s infidelity. I feel the poem
Daddy is a work of rage and powerlessness of her hate towards her father s death and then how she
tried to control this rage by creating a new father in her husband. Her husband is seen in two
metaphors, a Nazi and a vampire. The vampire drank her blood , which shows his possessiveness
over her. Which correlates once more to how her husband is a model of her father: they both
confined her. The metaphor of Nazis brings an understanding of her personal pain and
suppression. In my opinion of the two works the one that seem to deal with the theme in a more
constructive, realistic, or positive way is Fiesta 1980 . Parts of this story are funny, but mostly
there is a sense of real tension between the mother and her sons. However later in the story even
this relationship is a source of conflict as Yunior and Rafa must conceal their father s indiscretions. I
would argue that the brothers

Essence Of Waqf In Quran And Hadith
Introduction
Essence of waqf in Quran and Hadith. In the verses of Quran, By no means you attain
righteousness unless you give 9freely) of that which you love, and whatever you give, of a truth
God know it well. (Al Imran, 3:92). And in Hadith, the Prophet said: When a man dies his acts
come to an end, except three things which is recurring charity, knowledge (by which people
benefit), and pious offspring, who pray for him .
Waqf is by no means an insignificant instituition in Islam. It potential can be discerned by the very
insistence on the non transferability of the ownership rights of the property. Once a piece of
property is given for a charitable purpose, the owner ceases to have any claims over it, because
the property is said to belong to no one but Allah. This concept is great importance for the
development of the poorer section of society if such waqf properties would be managed to
generate inome for distribution or even for further accumulation of assets. Waqf itself also can be
regarded as an important economic activities whilst at the same time ensuring that the benefits will
accure to some specific sections of society.

or endowment as well. Al Syafie said that waqf is to keep the wealth that can give benefit, and
keep it remaining in the same from while the original owner cannot consume it . In other word,
waqf is to keep the wealth that is beneficial to the needy and the wealth remains in the same

Five Forces Analysis-US Express Mail Industry Essay
Question 1 asked to complete a five forces analysis of the US Express Mail Industry. A five forces
analysis is done to rate the attractiveness of an industry.
Threat of new entry is low because the barriers to entry are high. Newcomers to the industry would
require an enormous amount of up front capital to set up the distribution networks and
infrastructure, such as establishing hubs, and acquiring aircraft and a large amount of ground
transportation vehicles (vans, trucks, ect). Economies of scale are significant and would deter new
firms from entering because initial sales volumes would be low do to the fact that existing brands
already have strong brand identification, and there are no cost advantages to entering, like

The airports and the aircraft suppliers aren t only relying on the express mail industry, so that also
gives those suppliers more power to charge what they want (landing fees, cost of planes). Ground
transportation vehicles is the only input that would allow for more bargaining power since there are
numerous alternatives available, there is more room for the industry players to negotiate price.
The availability of substitutes is medium mainly because there aren t a large number of
substitutes out there for express mail outside of the industry. Most next day deliveries are
business documents, parcels, letters, ect, not typically cargo. So substitutes could include email
and faxes, both are faster and cheaper than express mailing. Depending on the nature of the
business, video conferencing or the old fashion telephone could be used. If the parcel is going
somewhere local maybe could use bike messengers, or just hand deliver. There are also the
second tier players, like RPS, DHL and TNT, while they are still in the delivery industry; they
tend to specialize in areas other than express mail. With RPS, it is second day service at 40 50%
less, and a business that does a large amount of overseas or international express shipments may
want to substitute with DHL or TNT, who specialize and differentiate themselves in the
international market.

The Advancement of Computers
Computers are one of the most important inventions ever. If computers had not been invented,
technology would not be developed to its current state.
Since the computers invention, society has changed drastically. Computer technology is so helpful,
that it is even used to create newer, better computer equipment. Almost everything today is linked
in some way, to computers. Before computers were invented, very little was known about outer
space.
With the technology we have now, we are learning new things everyday.

One other good thing about digital money would be it would continue to collect interest up until
the moment it is spent, instead of the instant it leaves the bank. Perhaps the best feature of digital
money is it could end all money based crime. Because the person could cancel their old number
and get a new one at anytime, it would be pointless to steal one s cash card. It would be like
robbing someone for a check. It is hard to imagine how different things would be without cash theft.
Computers have revolutionized meteorology, allowing us to predict with good accuracy how the
weather will behave in the near future. They also allow us a generalized prediction of changes in
the climate farther down the road.
Some scientists think they have discovered reason to believe the polar ice cap is going to melt
soon. These scientists scraped up volcanic ash and other debris from the land areas surrounding
the ice and ran tests on it with a computer. They seem to think that only three million years ago
there was a warm period and some of the cap melted off (Livermore 38 43). This is totally different
from conventional thinking which says the cap has been there for fifteen million years.

John Ronald Reuel Tolkien was one of the greatest and most profound authors of the twentieth
century, his works include the notable The Hobbit and the famously acclaimed Lord of the

drew intricate illustrations. In school, Tolkien prospered especially when it came to his broad
knowledge of languages. He showed a remarkable ability early on for Latin and Greek and moved
on to learn many other languages, such as Welsh, Middle English, Norse, and Icelandic. In his
letters, Tolkien discussed his views on The Lord of the Ringsas an allegory and his profound love

Benefits Of Dissecting A Cat
1. Introduction: What is dissection? Dissection is the process of disassembling and observing
something to determine its internal structure and as an aid to discerning the functions and
relationships of its components (Dissection). The term is most often used concerning the dissection
of plants and animals, including humans. Comparative anatomy is the investigation of similitudes
and contrasts in the life structures of various species. It is firmly identified with transformative
science and phylogeny. Comparative anatomy has gradually and long been utilized as evidence for
evolution; it indicates that various organisms share a common ancestor. Dissection of cats in an
anatomy class is a common occurrence and believed to be a great learning mechanism for
students. Schools and education systems utilize the availability of a cat because they are
vertebrates and include a great amount of similarity in structures as humans, as students learn the
anatomy and physiology of the human body. Advantages of dissecting a cat include a sensory
factor that a visual study is unable to provide. A fact of being a human is that a great many people
recall things they can touch or work on accomplishing more than they recollect data that they
examined. By analyzing a creature in individual and touching it, the material encounters can give a
general, better learning background that may help them in future classes if science or medical
sciences will be examined. I hold the belief that the

Spousal Relationships in Macbeth and Oedipus the King Essay
In Macbeth, by William Shakesphere, and Oedipus the King by Sophocles, the spousal relationship
between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth, and Oedipus and Jocasta, play a major role in the events that
lead to the tragedy. Their love, respect, and determination for each other reveal the nature of the
relationship shared by them.
In Macbeth, the bond between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth is strong. For instance, when he first
hears the prophecy from the three weird sisters, he immediately writes to Lady Macbeth informing
her about the prophecies. Further, he addresses her as my dearest partner of greatness, which gives
the reader several views on their relationship. For instance, George Gerwig reports that Lady
Macbeth is the source of his mental ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Finally, the strength of their bond can be seen when Macbeth becomes despondent at the news of
Lady Macbeth death. He feels that he has lost all hopes since he had undergone all those evil deeds
just for her.
Just as the bond between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth is strong, so does the bond between Oedipus
and Jocasta in Oedipus the King. Oedipus has excessive pride in him and is known for his swift
actions. It is Jocasta who tries to stop him from jumping into decisions without thinking about the
outcome. For instance, when Oedipus accuses Creon and Tiresias for treachery, Jocasta tries to
reason out with Oedipus. She tells him to not to believe in prophecies as they are not true. She
narrates to Oedipus the tale of the prophecy of her son that he would one day kill his own father
(Laius). She further tells him that the prophecy never came true because her son was killed when
he was a child and that Laius was killed by a group of thieves. Similarly, when she comes to know
part of the truth of Oedipus birth, she requests him to stop his search for the truth. She fears that his
search for the truth about his birth and parents, would lead to his own destruction. This shows that

Identification And Synthesis Of An Unknown Ionic Compound...
Introduction
The first part of the Identification and Synthesis of an Unknown Ionic Compound (Project 3 Week
1) experiment was to determine the unknown compound #202 that is given to the experimenter. The
second part to the experiment (Project 3 Week 2) was to discover different tests the experimenter
can conduct in order to prove that they have the specific ionic compound that they discovered in
part one. Some of the ways that the experimenter can determine the unknown compound #202 they
have includes, preliminary tests, physical state tests, solubility testing, analysis of anions, analysis
of cations and flame tests (Dealing with Unknown Compound). There are many ways an
experimenter can determine the ionic compound that they have, including pH tests, flammability
tests (liquids and solids), solubility tests and heavy metal tests, just to name a few (Identifying
Unknown Chemicals in Science Labs).
Experimental Details
The materials needed for this experiment included test tubes, a test tube holder, the unknown
compound #202, 35mL beakers, gloves, safety goggles, ethanol (to clean equipment), stirrer (to mix
solutions), the 15 possible compounds that are provided, pH strips, distilled water, wooden splints,
spatula to get out unknown compound #202, waste bucket, Bunsen burner, graduated cylinder,
500mL beaker for the waste, plastic dishes to measure out compound and the scale.

At the beginning of the passage, When Mr. Pirzada came to dine, Lilia says, I didn t mean they
were missing. I meant he misses them. They live in a different country, and he hasn t seen them
in a while, that s all. Even though she has had multiple chances to talk to Dora and her parents
about the war in Pakistan and the impacts it had on Mr.Pirzada, she doesn t bring up the issue or
try to inform them about it. This is because Lilia didn t try to history of her motherland until she

Halloween is one of the most celebrated and the most marketed holidays in America; therefore,
Americans buys costumes, decorations, and confectioneries which one can t afford in war zone
countries. In Halloween, children and teenagers get dressed up in their costumes and go from
house to house, walking along pathways and pressing doorbells. When the door opens, children and
teenagers would scream trick or treat and they receive candies, chocolates, and other confectioneries
from their neighbours. This tradition has increasingly become more popular and sensational as
more people decorated their house by stringing rubber bats in windows, and turning off lights for

Another example of the company, and therefore business world, being rightfully portrayed in a
negative light was when an assumed employee from PG E actually calls to threaten the safety of
Erin and her children. Erin is threatened by this person because PG E know that she has valuable

Clearly, this act portrays the business world in a damaging way, and I believe we would all
hope that our companies would never act in a way to threaten an innocent mother and her

Disadvantages Of Team Training
Team Training
Team building and team training is quite an effective way of keeping the morale, of team
members, up and their individual capabilities, in parallel to the objectives of a whole team. Being
a part of the business that values the team building the same as it does in the case of gathering new
customers, is really something which only the luckier ones get. Believe us! There are many team
building methods that a brand can use for increasing the team bonding and thus leading to a
productivity level, even higher than before. But of all the methods, team training is the most
effective one. In this method, the performance of the individuals, who are working towards a

These goals and objectives change as the team grows in different stages, i.e. forming stage,
storming stage, and norming stage. Each stage features its own reasoning, advantages, and
disadvantages. For example, the forming stage deals with binding the group, so that the group
members get to know each other and begin to have a sense of what an actual team looks like. It
also focuses on aligning the individual purposes so that they reinforce each other s goals as if they
have shared targets. Moreover, the roles of the leader are also established here.
The storming stage takes the objectives of the forming stage to a level above while adding more to
it. This stage ensures that all the members are enjoying good working relationships with each other
and are capable of sharing thoughts without any difficulty. This leads to nurturing the shared
problem solving skills and assists in the generation of new ideas. In this stage and from here on,
short term objectives and milestones are used to get a clear picture of how the team is performing

Comparing Frankenstein s Cinderella And Princess Culture
Little girls love everything about princesses: the beautiful doll replicas, the romantic love
storybooks and movies, and the glittering play clothes that come with authentic looking accessories
and adornments. But some believe that letting little girls fantasize and indulge in their princess
obsessions may bring more than pink sparkles into their lives. When Peggy Orenstein s three year
old daughter entered the princess phase , Orenstein became increasingly frustrated and concerned.
As a feminist, she worried about the negative and damaging effects the princess obsession would

But Orenstein, among other parents, believes these Disney products are affecting young girls

amount of school age girls who grew up in the presence of the very feminine Disney princesses felt

developing alluring visuals and entrancing soundtracks, and then strategically targeting them to
audiences through the use of powerful marketing campaigns. Disney Princesses have almost perfect
fairytale bodies, beautifully colored clothing, and storyline lifestyles that young girls have come to
envy. But that is not the case for princesses such as Pocahontas and Mulan. These princesses, who
are arguably the most realistic looking and normal of the bunch, are rarely seen in Princess
merchandise. Orenstein s theory is that Disney exploits only certain princesses through strong
merchandising and marketing because certain princesses have outfits and accessories that are more

The Principles And Purpose Of Interactive Design
Search Method A wide search across the University library, Google Scholar and ACM Digital
Library and to widen the search out to popular literature from various magazines, blogs and
articles was conducted to discover information about the process of Design Thinking. To ensure
the search results were not overwhelmingly numerous, speech marks on the phrase Design
Thinking were used before entering it on the search engines. The purpose of this is to ensure
there is appropriate information returned. The books selected were Design Studies by Catherine
Stones published in 2010, [8]; The Principles Purpose of Interactive Design published by Jamie
Steane in 2014 about the different ways individuals design think [6], as well as, the book
Wicked Problems in Design Thinking by Richard Buchanan, broader understanding defining

nature and the range of dates over which they were published, which provides more information,
both quite recent and then more of a design classic from 1992 [3]. Moreover, Tim Brown
discussed in the Harvard Business Review in 2008 Design Thinking, [2] and, Jon Kolko wrote an
article about 20 Design Thinking Comes of Age [2]. This gives a clear idea of different ways of

A Brief Note On Open A Daycare Center
When you start a business, you must decide whether it will be a sole proprietorship, partnership,

to a limited liability company to a full fledged professional corporation. A cursory glance over the
list of day care centers on the web reveals that most are LLCs, which offers multiple distinct

The Internal Revenue Service refers to an LLC with pass through income as a disregarded
entity; in other words, it is not recognized as an entity separate from its ownership. When it
comes to simple record keeping an LLC has fewer record keeping and reporting requirements
than a corporation or being a sole proprietorship. A sole proprietorship is the simplest and most
common structure chosen to start a business. It is an unincorporated business owned and run by
one individual with no distinction between the business and you, the owner. You are entitled to
all profits and are responsible for all your business s debts, losses and liabilities. You may,
however, be able to purchase liability insurance for your business that can help eliminate
tortious liability. You do not have to take any formal action to form a sole proprietorship. As
long as you are the only owner, this status automatically comes from your business activities. But
like all businesses, you need to obtain the necessary licenses and permits. Regulations vary by
industry, state and locality. If you choose to operate under a name different than your own, you
will most likely have to file a fictitious name (also known as an assumed name, trade name, or
DBA name, short for doing business as ). You must choose an original name; it cannot already be
claimed by another business. The biggest downside to operating a business as a sole proprietor is
the liability you are subject to. If your business

Technology Changes In America
Technology was the highlight of every 7th graders day last year. Technology was interesting and
fun and always taught us something new. We as a class were constantly doing new activities on
the computers, but all that changed this year. Technology was replaced with a special class
named Math lab. At first most of our class knew what to think of what this new special would be.
Yet after the first class it was obvious what Math Lab was. Math lab was a boring, repetitive,
strict class that only minorly strengthens skills in Math that most of both classes already knew. If
we do not bring back technology instead of math lab we may not be able to learn computer skills
that are needed in High School.
If Technology does not come back instead of Math lab we and future 8th graders may not know
skills on the computer needed for high school. When our class enters high school, with
technology as a class gone, we will not know how to use important programs such as PowerPoint
or Microsoft Word. Knoxville Catholic, Farragut High school, and Lenoir City high school have a

that when the fitness survive they are automatically given the opportunity to keep their genes

Mental Health Issues In Id, Ego, Superego
Id, Ego, Superego With regard to Interiors , I think this movie primarily support Ego, but also Id.
The movie was focused on how divorcing someone with a mental health issues can affect that

like clinical depression, I would assume there would be some feeling of being attacked or lack

The Ethics Of Ethics Audit
Ethics audit can be used in different fields to analyze ethical risks in organizations. Ethics audit is
flexible; it works according to organization s individual circumstances, including their size, type,
legal structure or industrial sector of operation. Main structure and processes of ethics audit model
should be followed. As mentioned before the current ethicsauditis based on qualitative research with
a methodological triangulation being used. For clarifying auditingprocess visualization of auditing

The Impact Of Lesbian And Gay Marriage
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) issues have continuously triggered debates and
controversies among various individuals across the globe. The rising concerns leading to the
differences in opinions regarding LGBT emanate from the point of perceptions, cultural beliefs,
religious values and political basis. Due to the dynamics of not accepting the existence of the LGBT
people by some individuals in their communities, the LGBTs have found it hard to express
themselves freely and enjoy equal rights just like a regular citizen should.
In some communities, extreme measures have been taken against individuals suspected to be
lesbian or gay because of the way the public views the LGBT people. It is disheartening and
traumatizing for most of them to come out and express themselves openly. Some have been forced
to lead double standards. However, the situation has changed in Brazil and in America where laws
and policies have been developed to support and protect the LGBT community. Several states in the
United States of America and Brazil have demonstrated recognition and acceptance of the lesbian
and gay community through the passing and legalization of same sex marriages. The governments
have issued bans on discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity in the
workplace and other areas where the lesbians and gays got unequal treatment.
One of the policies considered significantly within the LGBT rights is the same sex marriage. Gay

Global Pollution
al Explain four different forms of global pollution that may arise from a construction project and
explain four key methods used to protect the natural environment against such pollutants
Environmental Pollution Construction Sites
Construction sites are found both within urban and rural areas, often in the close proximity of
homes. Due to their proximity to homes and the materials used, construction sites may generate
home pollution. This involves air, water, soil, and/or noise pollution. Additionally, construction work
may reveal existing subsurface pollution. In such situation, construction work is stopped and costly
remediation is needed. Thus, construction work may generate construction pollution problems
affecting both home owners ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Construction Pollution Prevention and Cost Recovery * Personal damage. From the perspective
of the public, the best prevention is to spend as little time as possible outside (e.g., in your yard or
balcony) close to a construction site during operation time. Additionally, having a rich vegetation
around your home (and between the home and the construction site) will act as a natural filter for
the generated pollution, reducing the amount of pollution you may come in contact with. So,
planting in your yards or even pot plants in a balcony can help. The greener the better. Also,
regular spraying of water around the home will reduce the amount of dust and exposure through
inhalation, although the soil and water pollution may increase (but these are less directly affecting
you than air!). However, if you believe you are already negatively impacted by a construction site
in the vicinity, especially if you have been recently diagnosed with a medical condition involving
the respiratory system, you may be entitled to compensation. Evaluate your pollution case for free.
* Property damage. From the perspective of the construction site owner / developer, you may be
faced with building on polluted land

Chronic Obstructive Airway Disease Analysis
Disease that makes it hard to exhale all the air in the lungs, and when the airways becomes narrow
that cause the air to come out slower is considered Obstructive airway disease. In addition patient

Chronic Obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), Asthma, and Cystic Fibrosis are some of the
obstructive airway disease. In details, COPD is a group of conditions characterized by obstruction
to airflow in the lungs. Bronchitis, Bronchiectasis, and emphysemaare condition of COPD.
Smoking is the common cause of COPD. persons with COPD are unable to maintain normal blood

The pharmacologic treatment of COPD includes bronchodilators. Medication such Albuterol,
levalbuterol, and ipratropium, are bronchodilator that comes in inhalant or liquid form that you add

also used to help reduce the swelling and mucus production inside the airways. Drugs used to treat
asthma and COPD include drugs to block inflammation and drugs to dilate bronchi (Karch, 2013, p.
941). Oxygen therapy is use as additional therapy for COPD patients. Managing the exacerbations
includes treatment such as antibiotic, because bacterial or viral infection can cause exacerbation.

Egalitarianism And The French Revolution
Egalitarianism. It is the belief that all people are and should be the treated similarly despite age,
gender, race and social or political status. It is the trend of thought that all people are equal and
states that everyone should be handled with the same opportunities in life despite their differences.
It s a popular idea in liberalism: The political philosophyfounded on liberty and equality that
supports civil freedom and egalitarianisms basic idea is that everyone has the same fundamental

And, while it may seem that egalitarianism is most prominent now in the 21st century, the
concept actually originated in France back in 1799 as its original format equalitarian . This
awareness was established through the French Revolution between 1789 and 1799 which
fashioned the doctrine that all humanity is equal. Egalitarianism was one distinct idea that
shaped the French Revolution as it went through its various phases of Liberty, equality, and
fraternity! : the revolutions three base concepts. The need for egalitarianism in France came
from the uneven and unfair regime between the aristocrats or second estate and the third estate.
The third estate consisted of around 27 million people or 98% of the French population. Most of
these people were peasants, living their lives as laborers, working on farms, yet they were
required to pay a large range of taxes this was seemingly unfair considering their tireless
occupation and hard lifestyle... Even the smaller percentage of the third estate those who were
urban workers and lived in cities such as Paris were poorly paid, lived in difficult conditions and

Omaha Beach Landing Case Analysis
The purpose of this paper is to analyze an alternate outcome to the Omaha Beach landing in
Normandy, France. On June 6, 1944, the U.S. conducted an assault into Nazi occupied France.
The Nazi s terrain advantage and overwhelming forces at Omaha Beach nearly defeated the
assault. Applying SIGINT and HUMINT assets to discover the Nazi s had reinforced the beach,
the U.S. could have justified increased bombing runs and heavy naval gunfire prior to the assault.
This would have increased U.S. lethality, decreased the loss of life and equipment, and decreased
the time it took to advance through the objective. The U.S. was part of Operation Neptune, an
amphibious assault on Normandy. The operation was part of a larger military action called... Show

A firm positions itself by leveraging its strengths (Carnall, 2007, p. 120) and Professor Porter
claimed that a company s strengths are defined into one of two competitive environment
aspects: competitive advantage and competitive scope. Thereby the strengths can be categories
in either a narrow or a broad scope, which will result in three generic strategies. Porter termed the
strategies, cost leadership , differentiation , and focus . The cost leadership strategy is a strategy
that enables companies to become the lowest cost manufacturers in a market and allow them to
obtain competitive advantage by getting its costs of distribution or production lower than its
competitors in its market. To capitalize on this strategy successfully a company has to be the cost
leader rather than trying to reach the position. There are several ways of achieving these low
costs such as efficient production, tight control of overhead and costs, reduction of input costs,
and by having a unique source of low supplies. For instance, if the competitors are selling their
products at a standard market price and their goods were identical, the company with the lowest
cost would earn the highest profit. However, this does not necessarily mean that just because a
company is a cost leader the prices for their product would be low. In various cases, the company

Pneumoniae was identified as a common respiratory pathogen. Primarily, S. pneumoniae is a
commonly found in the upper respiratory tracts as a normal flora in humans. S. pneumoniae is the
most common cause of community acquired pneumonia where children are identified as the
primary carriers (Choa, 2014). S. pneumoniae is so common that health care providers have noted
key characteristics, making it apparent to detect and diagnose. More importantly, the common
phenotypic features of S. pnuemoniae are characterized by its colonic morphology being that it is
lancet shaped, catalase negative, optochin sensitivity and bile solubility. Pursuing this further, it is
important to follow strict testing procedures to distinguish which pathogen is preset, according to
their characteristics, in order to rule a diagnosis. Ideally, the First step in diagnosis of S.
pneumoniae can be determined using a Catalase test. In this test, S. Pneumoniae shows up as
catalase negative where further differentiation is made by the presence of a hemolytic pattern of
partial hemolysis on the blood agar plate. Another way to diagnose S. Pneumoniae is by using an
Optochin sensitivity test. This test is used to determine a specific classification of all Streptococcus
bacteria. The chemical, optochin, is used in the Optochin test to detect the sensitivity of bacteria,
and further differentiate which organism is

Imperial Dreams Analysis
Imperial Dreams is the first movie i ve seen which shows an accurate representation of what
poverty looks like in the hood. The realism combined with the powerful relationship between
Bambi the 21 year old ex convict and his 4 year old son Day is what gave me so much empathy
throughout the film.
Personally I found that the film itself wasn t as strong as it could ve been because the plot was a
bit of a let down but the overall theme of poverty and crime was exceptional. From start to finish I
could tell that lighting was a key technique that Malik Vitthal used to portray such a dark
atmosphere which was needed to visually show that the hood is the cruelest of prisons. I found
that he would use subtle symbols in the background and setting to give this impression. For
example in the opening scene although Bambi is now out of jail he is still surrounded by dingey

two options; to live homeless and begging on the streets or back into the criminal life. I can see
how hard it would be having ex convicts working in an everyday job because doesn t look good
for the companies, but as Bambi said whilst reading a piece of his writing to Day The hood is
the cruelest of prisons. The most unusual punishment. You were born into it. They don t even
have to build walls to keep people in. This doesn t seem right to me a prison is for criminals and

The Transactions Between Bell Hospitality Limited
Question 1 The transactions between Bell Hospitality Limited (BHL) and Costbite Limited
(Costbite) is undoubtedly a dealing in the course of business and a sale of goods contract,
therefore, it will be governed by the Sale of Goods Act 1979. A contract of sale is a lawful
agreement to transfer the ownership of any particular goods in exchange for an approved
monetary consideration from the other party. This transfer of ownership is also known as the
passing of property. The issues highlighted by BHL focuses on if there is any passing of property
and ultimately, who bears the risk of goods that have been part of the contract. By discussing
each of the goods the 20 bottles of Hollinger finest champagne, 12 bottles of Australian Premium
white wine and the 12 bottles of South African red wine separately, we will be able to determine
if the property has passed to BHL and whether or not, Kerry bears the risk of the loss of the three
goods due to the floods. Generally, it should be noted that the transfer of ownership does not only
occur when there is a handover of psychical possession of the goods. At times, the seller may still
have possession of the goods but the ownership would have passed on to the buyer, and on certain
occasions, the buyer would have possession of the item but the ownership may still remain with the
seller. Thus, many a times uncertainties have risen due to the seemingly challenging task of
needing to prove that they have ownership over the goods but

Persuasive Essay On Loose Skin
Massive weight loss is a huge decision, most of you reading have either gone through a massive
weight loss or are contemplating going through a massive weight loss. One of the most common
hesitations in losing weight is the resulting loose skin that occurs once your body has gone through
a significant weight loss. It is common knowledge that losing weight = loose skin. Loose skin not
only occurs with a massive weight loss but also with natural body occurrences such as pregnancy.
This is because once your body stretches through weight gain or through pregnancy; your skin loses
its elasticity. First patients come in to talk about weight loss and bariatric surgery, how it works and
your results. Many patients, however, decide they want to go the less expensive and natural way
by strict diet and exercise but are concerned about the loose skin. Our doctors always tell patients
to be realistic, being healthy is far more important than having loose skin. Even when you have
loose skin after weight loss there are ways to remove it such as post bariatric surgerywhich includes
tummy tucks, breast augmentations, and thigh lifts. The loose skin, although it may not seem
like it, is a proud reminder of how far you ve come and if you take that extra step to remove the
loose skin, your body will be an entire trophy dedicated to yourself. In this post, we will see why
and where that extra skin came from and how to reduce or remove it.

The Christian Bible is a collection of books that provides faith, hope, and guidelines that the
Christian faith has used for decades. Many people use the Bible as a tool for everyday live, and
in hopes of gain eternal life after death. The Christian Bible gives an account of Jesus life while he
was on earth. For decades, people have questioned the veracity of the Christian Biblefor many
reasons. I would like to talk about one the reason people question whether or not the Christian
Bible is just a novel or if it is a true account of the life of Jesus. In the Bible, The Gospels of
Matthew, Mark, and Luke are called the Synoptic Gospel, because they give a panorama or

perspectives. (Puchner ,1151).... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I believe these stories are written from a distinctive perspective because Matthew, Mark, and Luke
were talking to three different types of people. I believe that in their willingness to spread the

reach would understand the message of Christ.
The book of Matthew, the author is believed to be one of the 12 disciples Matthew. Matthew is
speaking the Jewish people. At that time, the Jewish people did not have a clear understanding of
the Messiah. Matthew mission was to teach the Jewish church the background and a clear
understanding of the Messiah. The book of Matthew begins with the birth and early years of Jesus

Respect The Elderly By Mark Twain
Respect the elderly. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is one hundred and thirty years old, yet
unfailingly manages to fascinate, infuriate, and inspire its readership. The novel rests on many a
bookshelf and regularly appears on lists of literary legends though it is equally likely to top a list
of controversial and profane works. Certainly, there is no other book in the oeuvre of Mark Twain
that commands attention more deservedly than Huckleberry Finn. The Adventures of Huckleberry
Finnis the decided champion of American novels due to its adherence to the , authentic characters
and tone, timeless social commentary, and immeasurable impact on contemporary literature. The
red, white, and blue, the stars and stripes; none of it stacks up in the presence of a boy, a river, and
a raft.
True to its title, the novel is an adventure story. It describes an escapade from point A to point B,
encountering choreographed misfortunes and recoveries along the way. In the grand scheme of
things, this work is a commentary on more than just a float along the Mississippi with a friend, but
first, to address the superficial. Though The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is considerably more
loaded down by serious trouble than the antecedent Adventures of Tom Sawyer, readers are once
again greeted with youthful, audacious prose. At the very outset, Huckleberry voices his desire

Analysis Of Nicholas Carr, Sherry Trukle And Clive Thompsom
Sixing Jiao Dr. Tsurska Oct. 14th, 2015 SDCC 4 Summary Synthesis Despite the obvious
difference in their approaches to argue, Nicholas Carr, Sherry Trukle and Clive Thompsom have
a common focus: The effect of shared information. Nicholas Carr mainly focus on sharing of
objective information, the information that is related to science and fact. In the meaning time,
Sherry Turkle writes about sharing of subjective information, the personal and emotional
messages that we deliver on social media. Clive Thompsom talks about the sharing of both kinds
of information. However, their views about sharing of information are totally different. The
similarities and conflicts between their arguments can actually help us to compare and
crystallize those different points of view on sharing information. In his Is Google Making Us
Stupid?, Nicholas Carr contends that the overload of information is chipping away his capacity
for concentration and contemplation (315). He admits with easy accessibility of information
online, the process of research has became much simpler(Carr 315). Yet such benefit comes with
a cost. Our brains are rewired as the cost of such convenience(Carr 316). As the result, we may
well be reading more today than we did in the 1970s or 1980s...but it s a different kind of reading,
and behind it lies a different kind of thinking (Carr 317). Carr argues the forming of such habits
can prevent us from deep reading and thinking. In fact, he provides may evidences in the

we determined that the defense opposed by Allstate was incorrectly granted, it is proper to
comment that even if this Court would have considered that Allstate was not present in the State
of Georgia, and as result the LAS was applicable, we would arrive to the same conclusion because
all the activities performed by Allstate in this forum do meet the standard of minimum contacts as
required by the constitutional test. It is also necessary to assert that according to the records, the
defense of lack of jurisdiction was untimely alleged. In accordance to the Georgia Rules of Civil
Procedure such defense should be alleged before answering the merits of the Complaint, or
concurrently with it. Because Allstate appeared and first proceed to deny any and all liability in
the case without previously or concurrently interposing the lack of jurisdiction, it did lose the
opportunity to allege this defense, and it waived any

When we were on kindergarten, techer taught us to do simple act like do unto others as you d
have others do unto you. Imagine how you d feel if you were in the other person s shoes. Stand
up for yourself, but try not to hurt people s feelings. Remember, your written words are readed
by real people, all statement that you expressed to other people, all deserving of respectful
communication. Before you say something to the others, just make sure that your words are not
hurting people s feeling. For example, you can make an excuse like, Would I be okay with this if
someone else had written it ? .

Essay about 2001 A Space Odyssey Analysis
2001: A Space Odyssey
The following paper will analyze the movie, 2001: A Space Odyssey by Stanley Kubrick and The
Centinel by Arthur C. Clarke. Although there are many themes present between the story and the
film, the following are the most dominant. I will be discussing Scientific themes, Religious and
Moral Themes, and Clarke s development of the short story into a full length film.
The first issue, I will be discussing the scientific themes of the movie. The movie, 2001: A Space
Odyssey, has a one of a kind vision of science and technology. The movie 2001 brings a great new
style of reality and realism to space technology and travel. Since there was no great ... Show more

Therefore, even though HAL 9000 is a computer, he possesses many humanlike characteristics.
The discussion about science leads into the second point of monoliths and technology.
www.dictionary.com defines a monolith as something, such as a column or monument, made
from one large block of stone. This is first portrayed in the first couple of scenes in the movie. As
the gorilla finds the monolith, picks it up and uses it as a weapon to kill prey. Next, when the
gorilla throws the bone up in to the air, it becomes a space ship over Earth. As I researched, this
was the longest time change in history of all the movies. Considering the bone became the
spaceship just shows that even though technologically people have progressed, the minds still
stayed relatively the same with the same goals. As a saying my mother once told me, Men are
like children, but when they get older they change their toys. I find this to be relevant in 2001 as
the time change only portrays a different time period but more or less the same content. Because
the movie is very slow paced, in my opinion, it gives the viewer a lot of time to question everything
that is happening and make sure to understand everything. There is not much conversation there
either which is not serving as another distraction. Makes the theme of the movie very clear. Stanley
Kubrick also includes the

Qualitative Approach
This study was conducted using qualitative approach. With the aim to exploring patient s and
caregivers experience of gaining access to acute stroke care Harrison et al., (2012). Qualitative
approach is appropriate as the study is therefore, concerned with exploring and understanding
human experience as they occur and interpret in real life, (Cook, et al., 2013). It can be argued that
qualitative researchfocuses on the credibility of the evidence presented as an authentic account and
accurate interpretation of the respondent s viewpoints in relation to the research question being
explored (Burns, et al. (2015). However, the participant could be lying about their experience,
therefore qualitative cannot be benchmarked as they depend on participant... Show more content on

The study fits well with Omar in such a way that Omar had earlier signs of stroke, due to lack of
knowledge he did not seek for help. Efforts to gain access to EMS are evident within these data
as are a failure by some participants to recognise the urgency of stroke signs and symptoms
Miller, et al., (2015). The importance of caregivers and relatives in facilitating access to EMS is
therefore also apparent, this is indicated in Omar s case, when Omar s wife phone the GP.
However, the results from the study shows that majority of the patient reported being aware of
the FAST (Fast, Arms, Speech, Time) campaign, at the time of stroke (Madeleine, et al., (2012).
The rest of the patient argued that the campaign had no impact on stroke recognition or response.
Therefore, lack of knowledge has huge impact on people not seeking emergency help. This could
be the reason Omar did not seek for help when he had the first attack. However, Department of
health (DH, 2010) and Public Health England (PHE, 2015), indicates that public health
interventions have helped the public to recognise the signs of stroke and take appropriate action.
Moreover, the study signposts that patient fear to call for emergency help as they were not sure of

Performance Comparison Of Industrial Project Delivery Systems
6. PERFORMANCE COMPARISON OF INDUSTRIAL PROJECT DELIVERY SYSTEMS 6.1
Research Setting The performance comparison was done using the same 439 Industrial project
data that was utilized for the correlation analysis. The three delivery systems compared are
Design Build, CM at Risk and the traditional Design Bid Build systems. The study aims to find
significant difference between the performances of fast track delivery systems (DB and CMR)
and the traditional system. The project performance was compared in terms of schedule, cost
and change performance using the same metrics as done for the Spearman s correlation analysis.
6.2 Assumptions Validation The performance metrics that were tested were first checked for the
normality assumption. None of the variables satisfied normality according to the Q Q plots.
Shapiro Wilk test was conducted on each variable to ascertain the deviations from normal
distribution. The cost performance generated a W = 0.918631 with a p value 0.0001 which
supports the hypothesis that the data is not obtained from a normal distribution. The W for
schedule performance was 0.442249 with a p value 0.0001. Similar was the case with cost
change percentage (W = 0.748467, p value 0.0001) and schedule change percentage (W =
0.519286, p value 0.0001). The Q Q plots are shown in Figure 24. Figure 24: Q Q plots for Cost

The children presented in Fiesta 1980 by Junot Diaz and Daddy by Silvia Plath suffers an internal struggle because of their fathers. In Fiesta 1980 there is a chance to improve the relationship where as in Daddythere is no hope because the father is dead. In Fiesta 1980 we can tell the story is told in the first person by and adolescent Latino boy. It is interesting how Junior only experiences carsickness in the lime green van his father drives. He notes that he never had trouble with cars before that van was like my curse . I can assume that since Junior first met his father s mistress during a trip in the van, which leads me to believe that Yunior associates the vehicle with the crushing emotional distress of learning of his father s infidelity. I feel the poem Daddy is a work of rage and powerlessness of her hate towards her father s death and then how she tried to control this rage by creating a new father in her husband. Her husband is seen in two metaphors, a Nazi and a vampire. The vampire drank her blood , which shows his possessiveness over her. Which correlates once more to how her husband is a model of her father: they both confined her. The metaphor of Nazis brings an understanding of her personal pain and suppression. In my opinion of the two works the one that seem to deal with the theme in a more constructive, realistic, or positive way is Fiesta 1980 . Parts of this story are funny, but mostly there is a sense of real tension between the mother and her sons. However later in the story even this relationship is a source of conflict as Yunior and Rafa must conceal their father s indiscretions. I would argue that the brothers ... In the verses of Quran, By no means you attain righteousness unless you give 9freely) of that which you love, and whatever you give, of a truth God know it well. (Al Imran, 3:92). And in Hadith, the Prophet said: When a man dies his acts come to an end, except three things which is recurring charity, knowledge (by which people benefit), and pious offspring, who pray for him . Waqf is by no means an insignificant instituition in Islam. It potential can be discerned by the very insistence on the non transferability of the ownership rights of the property. Once a piece of property is given for a charitable purpose, the owner ceases to have any claims over it, because the property is said to belong to no one but Allah. This concept is great importance for the development of the poorer section of society if such waqf properties would be managed to generate inome for distribution or even for further accumulation of assets. A five forces analysis is done to rate the attractiveness of an industry. Threat of new entry is low because the barriers to entry are high. Newcomers to the industry would require an enormous amount of up front capital to set up the distribution networks and infrastructure, such as establishing hubs, and acquiring aircraft and a large amount of ground transportation vehicles (vans, trucks, ect). Economies of scale are significant and would deter new firms from entering because initial sales volumes would be low do to the fact that existing brands already have strong brand identification, and there are no cost advantages to entering, like government ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The airports and the aircraft suppliers aren t only relying on the express mail industry, so that also gives those suppliers more power to charge what they want (landing fees, cost of planes). Ground transportation vehicles is the only input that would allow for more bargaining power since there are numerous alternatives available, there is more room for the industry players to negotiate price. The availability of substitutes is medium mainly because there aren t a large number of substitutes out there for express mail outside of the industry. Most next day deliveries are business documents, parcels, letters, ect, not typically cargo. So substitutes could include email and faxes, both are faster and cheaper than express mailing. Depending on the nature of the business, video conferencing or the old fashion telephone could be used. If the parcel is going somewhere local maybe could use bike messengers, or just hand deliver. There are also the second tier players, like RPS, DHL and TNT, while they are still in the delivery industry; they tend to specialize in areas other than express mail. With RPS, it is second day service at 40 50% less, and a business that does a large amount of overseas or international express shipments may want to substitute with DHL or TNT, who specialize and differentiate themselves in the international market. Dissection is the process of disassembling and observing something to determine its internal structure and as an aid to discerning the functions and relationships of its components (Dissection). The term is most often used concerning the dissection of plants and animals, including humans. Comparative anatomy is the investigation of similitudes and contrasts in the life structures of various species. It is firmly identified with transformative science and phylogeny. Comparative anatomy has gradually and long been utilized as evidence for evolution; it indicates that various organisms share a common ancestor. Dissection of cats in an anatomy class is a common occurrence and believed to be a great learning mechanism for students. Schools and education systems utilize the availability of a cat because they are vertebrates and include a great amount of similarity in structures as humans, as students learn the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Advantages of dissecting a cat include a sensory factor that a visual study is unable to provide. A fact of being a human is that a great many people recall things they can touch or work on accomplishing more than they recollect data that they examined. By analyzing a creature in individual and touching it, the material encounters can give a general, better learning background that may help them in future classes if science or medical sciences will be examined. • 9. Spousal Relationships in Macbeth and Oedipus the King Essay In Macbeth, by William Shakesphere, and Oedipus the King by Sophocles, the spousal relationship between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth, and Oedipus and Jocasta, play a major role in the events that lead to the tragedy. Their love, respect, and determination for each other reveal the nature of the relationship shared by them. In Macbeth, the bond between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth is strong. For instance, when he first hears the prophecy from the three weird sisters, he immediately writes to Lady Macbeth informing her about the prophecies. Further, he addresses her as my dearest partner of greatness, which gives the reader several views on their relationship. For instance, George Gerwig reports that Lady Macbeth is the source of his mental ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Finally, the strength of their bond can be seen when Macbeth becomes despondent at the news of Lady Macbeth death. He feels that he has lost all hopes since he had undergone all those evil deeds just for her. Just as the bond between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth is strong, so does the bond between Oedipus and Jocasta in Oedipus the King. Oedipus has excessive pride in him and is known for his swift actions. It is Jocasta who tries to stop him from jumping into decisions without thinking about the outcome. For instance, when Oedipus accuses Creon and Tiresias for treachery, Jocasta tries to reason out with Oedipus. She tells him to not to believe in prophecies as they are not true. She narrates to Oedipus the tale of the prophecy of her son that he would one day kill his own father (Laius). She further tells him that the prophecy never came true because her son was killed when he was a child and that Laius was killed by a group of thieves. Similarly, when she comes to know part of the truth of Oedipus birth, she requests him to stop his search for the truth. She fears that his search for the truth about his birth and parents, would lead to his own destruction. This shows that ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

For instance, if the competitors are selling their products at a standard market price and their goods were identical, the company with the lowest cost would earn the highest profit. However, this does not necessarily mean that just because a company is a cost leader the prices for their product would be low. In various cases, the company could ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Pneumoniae was identified as a common respiratory pathogen. Primarily, S. pneumoniae is a commonly found in the upper respiratory tracts as a normal flora in humans. S. pneumoniae is the most common cause of community acquired pneumonia where children are identified as the primary carriers (Choa, 2014). S. pneumoniae is so common that health care providers have noted key characteristics, making it apparent to detect and diagnose. More importantly, the common phenotypic features of S. pnuemoniae are characterized by its colonic morphology being that it is lancet shaped, catalase negative, optochin sensitivity and bile solubility. Pursuing this further, it is important to follow strict testing procedures to distinguish which pathogen is preset, according to their characteristics, in order to rule a diagnosis. Ideally, the First step in diagnosis of S. pneumoniae can be determined using a Catalase test. In this test, S. Pneumoniae shows up as catalase negative where further differentiation is made by the presence of a hemolytic pattern of partial hemolysis on the blood agar plate. Another way to diagnose S. Pneumoniae is by using an Optochin sensitivity test. This test is used to determine a specific classification of all Streptococcus bacteria. The chemical, optochin, is used in the Optochin test to detect the sensitivity of bacteria, and further differentiate which organism is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 31. Imperial Dreams Analysis Imperial Dreams is the first movie i ve seen which shows an accurate representation of what poverty looks like in the hood. The realism combined with the powerful relationship between Bambi the 21 year old ex convict and his 4 year old son Day is what gave me so much empathy throughout the film. Personally I found that the film itself wasn t as strong as it could ve been because the plot was a bit of a let down but the overall theme of poverty and crime was exceptional. From start to finish I could tell that lighting was a key technique that Malik Vitthal used to portray such a dark atmosphere which was needed to visually show that the hood is the cruelest of prisons. I found that he would use subtle symbols in the background and setting to give this impression. For example in the opening scene although Bambi is now out of jail he is still surrounded by dingey wired fences, signs, buildings with bars over the top of the windows and this is ... I can see how hard it would be having ex convicts working in an everyday job because doesn t look good for the companies, but as Bambi said whilst reading a piece of his writing to Day The hood is the cruelest of prisons. The Transactions Between Bell Hospitality Limited Question 1 The transactions between Bell Hospitality Limited (BHL) and Costbite Limited (Costbite) is undoubtedly a dealing in the course of business and a sale of goods contract, therefore, it will be governed by the Sale of Goods Act 1979. A contract of sale is a lawful agreement to transfer the ownership of any particular goods in exchange for an approved monetary consideration from the other party. This transfer of ownership is also known as the passing of property. The issues highlighted by BHL focuses on if there is any passing of property and ultimately, who bears the risk of goods that have been part of the contract. By discussing each of the goods the 20 bottles of Hollinger finest champagne, 12 bottles of Australian Premium white wine and the 12 bottles of South African red wine separately, we will be able to determine if the property has passed to BHL and whether or not, Kerry bears the risk of the loss of the three goods due to the floods. Generally, it should be noted that the transfer of ownership does not only occur when there is a handover of psychical possession of the goods. At times, the seller may still have possession of the goods but the ownership would have passed on to the buyer, and on certain occasions, the buyer would have possession of the item but the ownership may still remain with the seller. Thus, many a times uncertainties have risen due to the seemingly challenging task of needing to prove that they have ownership over the goods but ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is one hundred and thirty years old, yet unfailingly manages to fascinate, infuriate, and inspire its readership. The novel rests on many a bookshelf and regularly appears on lists of literary legends though it is equally likely to top a list of controversial and profane works. Certainly, there is no other book in the oeuvre of Mark Twain that commands attention more deservedly than Huckleberry Finn. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finnis the decided champion of American novels due to its adherence to the , authentic characters and tone, timeless social commentary, and immeasurable impact on contemporary literature. The red, white, and blue, the stars and stripes; none of it stacks up in the presence of a boy, a river, and a raft. True to its title, the novel is an adventure story. In the grand scheme of things, this work is a commentary on more than just a float along the Mississippi with a friend, but first, to address the superficial. Though The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is considerably more loaded down by serious trouble than the antecedent Adventures of Tom Sawyer, readers are once again greeted with youthful, audacious prose. Nicholas Carr mainly focus on sharing of objective information, the information that is related to science and fact. In the meaning time, Sherry Turkle writes about sharing of subjective information, the personal and emotional messages that we deliver on social media. Clive Thompsom talks about the sharing of both kinds of information. However, their views about sharing of information are totally different. In his Is Google Making Us Stupid?, Nicholas Carr contends that the overload of information is chipping away his capacity for concentration and contemplation (315). He admits with easy accessibility of information online, the process of research has became much simpler(Carr 315). Yet such benefit comes with a cost. Our brains are rewired as the cost of such convenience(Carr 316). Next, when the gorilla throws the bone up in to the air, it becomes a space ship over Earth. As I researched, this was the longest time change in history of all the movies. It can be argued that qualitative researchfocuses on the credibility of the evidence presented as an authentic account and accurate interpretation of the respondent s viewpoints in relation to the research question being explored (Burns, et al.
