Mood Board/Fonts Analysis
I have put together two different mood boards. The first one are general images of animals, stones
and nature. The second mood board is more to do with Autumn. Some of the images I have chosen
will reflect on my colour schemes. I have also, added images of different colours that I might use.
The second mood board has more to do with my fanzine especially with the colours of the leaves
and what kind of images I’ve chosen.
On the next slide, I have used dafont to pick out different styles. I had already chosen what I wanted
to call my fanzine which is ‘Body Mind Soul’. I quite liked this as the title because it’s all to do with
nature which for some people relaxes them. With the font, I wanted something tall so then I could
edit it out and add little images of trees/leaves etc.
There are some colours that I realised won’t really go well with my theme for my fanzine. To show
my improvement on this, on the next slide there are the colours I have picked properly and are
more relevant to my work.
I used Adobe Colour CC to pick out my colours. I
had not used this website before but it proved to
be really good. One of the good things about it
was that I could add an image and it would pick
out the main colours. Also, you could choose
different points of the image if you wanted
different colours. Other websites I tried was
Paletton and Coolors which I have used both
before.
The colours I have picked are to go with my
theme of Autumn. I have chosen to use the top
colour bar because it goes well with my whole
theme.

Schedule
Week One:
In the first week, I will be starting to write down the words to add to my fanzine.
I have already figured out which words I want to use a week before so it won’t take me ages trying to find different words.
This means I can start putting words into a shape or a pattern so it’ll look good with the image.
Another part I will produce is the content page which shouldn’t take long because I have already come up with the names of the images
from the interview, I have taken certain quotes from it that I have thought are interesting.
All I will need to do is look at how to lay it all out.
Week Two:
The interview is already been done so all I need to do in this week is think about how I want it to be laid out.
As the front and the back cover is going to be the same image, this means I have to edit one image.
This week I will also edit all the images I have taken using photo shop and looking to see if they look good.
Week Three:
In the last week I will have all my work in and finished.
If there are any improvements then I will try to do them in this week.
As this is the last week I will start my evaluation.
There are only three weeks to produce this fanzine which isn’t long. This means I need to be on top of all my work otherwise I won’t get any
improvements or my work handed in on time. I will know if I’m behind on my work because I will look back at my schedule and realise that
it should have been finished already. However, if there is a chance I am behind on my work then I will make sure I’m doing anything I can at
home or come into college early to finish.
I will be spending around 30-45 minutes on every task depending on how hard it may be and 20 minutes if the task is small.
Poem Improvement I picked out a poem and took out certain lines
to make it different and more relevant to my
work.
Firstly, it start off by writing out the poem and
then aligning them so they were in an order.
At first, I used an image of leaves and placed it
behind the text. However, this didn’t work out.
Today, I actually learnt something new with
the brushes. I didn’t realise that you could
change the brush to the image of leaves. So I
used this and changed the colours to go with
my colour scheme.
I couldn’t decide whether to have the leaves
flying around the text or to have it all
together, neat. I made both so I could see
which looked better. I picked the neat one and
looked good on the back page of my fanzine.
